The Project has been enjoying getting outside to run. Since the rain has stopped, we have been able to go out everyday. The Project enjoy running and we were able to see the farmers harvesting the rice!
We have been excelling at practicing our typing. Many students are near or at 100 percent accuracy in typing with correct finger positions and many are typing 40 to 50 words per minute (wpm) with three and four letter words! Great job The Project. This is a skill that will help you for the rest of your life.
We have been enjoying our new theme of factories. We have discussed different vocabulary words associated with factories and watch a few You Tube videos of assembly line manufacturing. We drew pictures of what we would make if we had a factory. Their drawings are on the wall outside of Shooting Star if you have the chance to stop by and view them.
Today was Miss Annette’s last day as The Project teacher. Thank you for the opportunity to be your student’s teacher. I enjoyed inquiring and exploring with them. We met Mr. Lance from Australia who has worked at ISN previously. He was fun and the students enjoyed his humor. He may join as a Project teacher!
