Welcome to Milky way’s second blog of the month. The students learned a lot this week and had fun while at it. They kicked off their very first UOI lesson by trying to figure out exactly what the central idea and first line of the inquiry mean. They then slowly progressed to dissecting the 3Rs, but with a particular focus on recycling and reusing.Organizing knowledge is important to the overall understanding of a topic. Therefore, the students started making a poster about the 3Rs （Reduce, Reuse, Recycle）and they aim to finish it by next week or the week after that. Rome wasn’t built in a day…😊 .They will shift their focus to the “reducing” part of the 3Rs after reviewing what they have learned so far.The last thing we want is for them to be bogged down by information overload. The plan is to get there steadily, but surely.
