Hi everyone! Welcome to our last blog of the month of August! This week, we had lots of fun with water and mud play. The children enjoyed scooping, pouring, splashing, and exploring the water using cups, buckets, and different tools. They also had fun making muddy mixtures and discovering different textures. During our play, we talked about simple words such as wet, dry, full, empty, big, and small. The children enjoyed playing together, sharing materials, and watching what happened when they mixed water and mud. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement as they explored the outdoor environment. Water and mud play gave the children a fun opportunity to learn through hands-on play.

Clothes Topic

We continued learning about clothes this week. The children practiced simple words such as shirt, pants, shoes, hat, and dress. They enjoyed looking at pictures of different clothes, naming them, and talking about what they wear every day. We also talked about the clothes we wear in different types of weather. Through song, and simple activities, the children had many opportunities to practice their new English vocabulary. It has been lovely to see them becoming more confident when saying the new words. We are very proud of their enthusiasm and participation during our clothes topic.

Gym Lesson

We had another exciting gym lesson this week! They listened carefully to the teacher and practiced following simple instructions. We also continued practicing some of the skills they will need for our upcoming Sports Festival. The children enjoyed running as fast as they could and trying their best. They also had fun cheering for their friends and celebrating each other’s efforts. It was wonderful to see their confidence growing as they became more comfortable with the different activities. Everyone had a fantastic time being active and moving together.

Arts and Crafts

Our arts and crafts activities were full of creativity this week. The children enjoyed using different colors, shapes, and materials to create their own artwork. They practiced holding crayons and handling craft materials, which helped to develop their fine motor skills. We encouraged the children to explore the materials and enjoy the creative process in their own way. They were excited to see their artwork come to life and enjoyed showing their creations to their friends and teachers. Each child expressed themselves in a unique way, and we loved seeing their wonderful ideas. It was a fun and creative time for everyone!

The Week Ahead

Next week, we will continue learning through a variety of fun and exciting activities. We will also continue preparing for our very first Sports Festival, where the children will have the chance to run and cheer for their friends. We will practice running, listening, and following simple instructions together. Alongside this, we will enjoy more outdoor play, and opportunities to explore different things at school. We are looking forward to another wonderful week of learning, playing, and growing together with our Rainbow Friends!
