We started our week with a special celebration for our October birthday celebrants! 🎉 We all gathered in the music room to sing a big and cheerful “Happy Birthday” song to our birthday stars. Everyone joined in to make this moment extra special, sharing smiles, laughter, and warm birthday wishes with our friends.

The excitement continued as Ms. Sayuri entertained us with her amazing magic show! 🪄 Our little learners watched with curious eyes and amazed expressions as they enjoyed her tricks. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and surprised reactions. Everyone had a blast, and it was such a wonderful way to begin our week!

After the celebration, we headed outdoors for a lovely stroll to the part. As we walked together, our learners enjoyed being outdoors, observing their surroundings, and spending time with their friends. The fresh air and open spaces gave them opportunities to move their bodies, explore the environment, and enjoy simple moments together outside the classroom. It was lovely to see their excitement as they walked, talked, and shared the experience with their classmates.

Park Adventure

We were so happy to be blessed with beautiful weather! We were able to visit the park and explore the wonders of autumn. 🍂🌳When we arrived at the park, we took a lovely stroll and enjoyed observing the beauty of nature around us. Our little learners were excited to talk about the different colors of the autumn leaves they spotted along the way. Some noticed that the leaves had changed to yellow, red, orange, and brown, while others also spotted green leaves. It was wonderful to see them observing their surroundings, sharing their discoveries, and noticing the beautiful changes that autumn brings! 🍂🍁

We were also able to see the ducks and fish in the pond. Our curious little learners counted them and noticed the differences in their sizes, excitedly exclaiming, “A big fish!” and “A small fish!” As they watched the ducks swimming together, they also made their own guesses, saying that the smaller duck might be the duckling and the bigger one might be its mommy duck. What a wonderful way to observe, compare, and share their ideas!

After our pond adventure, we climbed up the hill and collected some acorns along the way. Our learners were delighted to discover these little treasures of autumn!

To end our fun-filled park adventure, we headed to the play area, where everyone had a wonderful time playing and enjoying the beautiful day together.

How To Express your feelings through words, facial expression and action.

During our UOI lesson, we explored different ways to express our feelings and needs through words, facial expressions, and actions. We presented our learners with familiar, everyday situations and invited them to share their thoughts and demonstrate how they would respond.

For example, we asked what they would do if they needed to go to the bathroom, had a tummy ache, or wanted something they saw in a shop. Our learners shared their ideas and showed us how they could communicate their needs using words, facial expressions, and gestures.

It was wonderful to observe their different comments and reactions as they thought about each situation. Through this activity, our little learners began to understand that we can express ourselves in different ways and that knowing how to communicate our feelings and needs helps others understand us better!
