Hello everyone! First and foremost, I wanted to take a moment to apologize for not being able to share last week’s blog post as planned. Unfortunately, I’ve been feeling unwell, and after much consideration, I’ve decided it’s best to take the time to rest and recover properly. I know how much you all look forward to my content, and I truly appreciate your ongoing support. It’s never easy to miss a post, but I’m confident that focusing on my health will allow me to return even more substantial with fresh ideas to share. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. I’ll include last week’s happenings in our class for this week’s blog.

In the meantime, take care of yourselves because different kinds of flu are spreading!

Park

We went to Minami Takada Park by bus to play and enjoy it to the fullest. We had the highest energy and were eager to play. When we saw the park, the kids screamed joyfully, which echoed inside the bus. We enjoyed climbing the jungle gym to the slide; the tricky slide was our favorite. Swaying animals, swinging, and more.

Gym Lesson
We warmed up before we started our gym lesson by jumping, stretching our hands up high, making our bodies small, and running around. We always did the obstacles and added some tricky moves, like passing the big ring in the middle and giving a high five to the teacher when we got to the end line. For doing the Chasing Tail Game, some of us cried because we failed to get a tail. Those feelings will motivate us to try our best next time.

Morning circle

This week, in our morning circle, we tried to have each student go in front and sing together every day. Then, they took one weather flashcard and asked our friends what weather we had in our hands. For example, they chose sunny weather, “Is it sunny today?” or more. We were very excited about who should stand in front and do the weather.

Birthday Party

Last Friday, we had our birthday party for the December celebrants. We had one celebrant for Rainbow, and everybody was so excited about the cake for the afternoon snack. They already knew that if there was a birthday party that day, we would have a cake for snack time. We are sorry that we couldn’t provide and share pictures of the birthday party😌.

Puppet show

We were very excited to watch the puppet show. The story was about the “Three Little Pigs“. It was a fantastic experience, and we all enjoyed it. Some cried when the villain, Big Bad Wolf, came out, some were scared, and some were courageous enough to smile. Watching a puppet version of the wolf huffing and puffing to blow down each house is both suspenseful and funny, especially as the little pigs cleverly outsmart him at every turn.

Christmas Party

Christmas is one of the most magical times of the year, and it’s especially exciting for Rainbow class! This month has been filled with laughter, creativity, and excitement. We were able to sing confidently in front of other classes. The joy of receiving gifts was the most precious one.
