Hello everyone! Let`s embrace the new beginning! Happy New Year to all! The beauty of the New Year is in the feeling of a fresh start. This fresh start doesn’t mean you must make drastic changes simultaneously. Sometimes, the most potent new beginnings are the ones that begin quietly: a morning routine, a conversation with a loved one, or a renewed sense of purpose. This week, we heard many emotions in class: crying, grumpiness, sadness, etc. We expected mixed feelings, the excitement to meet and play with our friends again, and the separation from mom and dad would be difficult for our little angels. However, despite our emotional difficulties, we had much fun playing with our friends.

Gym Lesson

We were happy when we saw our teacher; we hugged him tightly. We did warm up by making our bodies small and big, then reaching the sky. We did great on obstacles and cared for our new younger friends who tried it for the first time. We patiently waited for our turn and had fun.

Music

For this week`s Music Lesson, we greeted each other before starting the lesson and tried remembering the rhythms we learned last year after a long vacation. We were glad we could still learn the rhythms, act, and sing along with the music. They giggled when we did ” tong, pa” by clapping our hands once and opening them by saying the words together. Our younger friends enjoyed the music and danced, too. When the music stopped, we enjoyed balancing our bodies using one foot and raising the other. They were so cute when they stopped and did the position being told. It was a little bit tricky, but we did it. Good job, Rainbow!!

Tracing Lines

We started how to trace the lines and tried to listen to the teacher’s instructions. It was uneasy to focus and hold the pencil nicely. But we tried our best! Practice Some got it perfectly. Tracing lines introduces children to the concept of shapes and patterns. We started by tracing straight, and understanding these shapes is a foundational skill for learning letters and numbers later on. Mastering this essential skill also builds our confidence and motivates us to take on new challenges in our learning journey.

Walk/Outside Play

On our first day this week, we walked around and showed our new friends the surroundings near the campus. We were able to play in the snow and had so much fun. It was our first free play for this season, enjoying the snow and feeling the coldness in our hands. Playing in the snow is an exciting and memorable experience. Playing in the snow also encourages us to explore different textures and sensations as we touch, mold, scoop, or even taste the snow (though we advise against eating snow!).
