( March 10th-14th)

Hello everyone! As the end of the school year approaches, the kids are ready to move on to the next level of their preschool lives. For Rainbow students, our bodies were strong enough, and so were our minds and soul. Most of the students graduated from diapers to underpants, and they were all happy and understood the differences between pants and diapers. Those wearing underpants were grateful and glad they could say goodbye to diapers.

We also started deciding who would be a line leader for the day as part of the preparations for Aurora’s. They all did an excellent job and could say clear words and sentences.

All students are very excited about next week’s Bus Trip; we will walk longer than usual this time.

Park

Almost all students were responsible enough to walk on the road and followed our agreements. We enjoyed walking to the park and taking different routes. Because they were not familiar with it, they kept asking where we were going. We tried to walk farther than usual to strengthen our legs. We played the running race again and more.

Gym Lesson

This week was our last day for the gym lesson. The teacher let us decide what we wanted to do and let us arrange the rings and stepping stones. What surprised us was that they did it without arguing about arranging the obstacles. The Chasing Tail Game was the best of everything we did. We could see how others wonderfully transformed into risk-takers and did not give up. When they got a tail, they showed us a smug face! It was fun to watch!

Music Lesson

It was our last lesson for this school year. After we greeted each other, the teacher showed us how to dangle our little hands and touch the body parts the teacher told us. Along with the piano music, we walked around and stopped when the music stopped and touched the said body part. Next, she showed us what happens when you slowly inflate a balloon and the air gradually disappears. We pretended to be a balloon along with the piano music, slowly inflated until we spread our hands widely, then slowly shrank our bodies like balloons. It was fun, and we did excellent! The teacher praised us a lot! Thank you so much to our dear teacher, Ms. Miyuki, for her incredible support and love for us.

Since we had reviews from our previous monthly themes, we also sang previous songs as well.

Thank you so much for your time. See you again next week!

Have a safe and great weekend!
