This week, Shooting Star had fun learning about their roles as open-minded students and reflective people through a pizza activity! They discovered how important it is to make healthy choices and try new foods by including all five food groups! Vegetables, meat, bread, dairy, and even fruit can be added to their pizzas. By creating their own balanced pizzas, they not only thought about healthy eating but also gained the confidence to try new things as risk-takers. Plus, they found out how eating well helps their parents take care of their important roles as carers, too! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
