The students looked back at several important topics and practiced using them through classroom discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u4eca\u9031\u306f\u3001\u3053\u308c\u307e\u3067\u306e\u30e6\u30cb\u30c3\u30c8\u3067\u5b66\u3093\u3067\u304d\u305f\u6587\u6cd5\u306e\u5185\u5bb9\u3092\u3075\u308a\u8fd4\u308a\u3001\u30af\u30e9\u30b9\u5168\u4f53\u3067\u306e\u8a71\u3057\u5408\u3044\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u5fa9\u7fd2\u3092\u884c\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We began with prefixes, learning how adding letters to the beginning of a word can change its meaning. We also reviewed how to use the apostrophe for possessives, making sure students can tell the difference between plural nouns and nouns that show ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u307e\u305a\u63a5\u982d\u8f9e\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u5b66\u3073\u3001\u5358\u8a9e\u306e\u524d\u306b\u6587\u5b57\u3092\u52a0\u3048\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u610f\u5473\u304c\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u5909\u308f\u308b\u306e\u304b\u3092\u78ba\u8a8d\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u307e\u305f\u3001\u6240\u6709\u3092\u8868\u3059\u30a2\u30dd\u30b9\u30c8\u30ed\u30d5\u30a3\u306e\u4f7f\u3044\u65b9\u3092\u5fa9\u7fd2\u3057\u3001\u8907\u6570\u5f62\u306e\u540d\u8a5e\u3068\u6240\u6709\u3092\u793a\u3059\u540d\u8a5e\u3092\u533a\u5225\u3067\u304d\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another focus was on determiners, the small but powerful words like <em>a<\/em>, <em>the<\/em>, <em>this<\/em>, and <em>some<\/em> that give us more detail about nouns. We also practiced identifying main clauses and subordinate clauses, which helped students see how sentences can be built with more than one part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u6b21\u306b\u3001<em>a<\/em>\u3001<em>the<\/em>\u3001<em>this<\/em>\u3001<em>some<\/em> \u3068\u3044\u3063\u305f\u540d\u8a5e\u3092\u4fee\u98fe\u3059\u308b\u5c0f\u3055\u306a\u8a00\u8449\u300c\u9650\u5b9a\u8a5e\u300d\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u78ba\u8a8d\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u307e\u305f\u3001\u4e3b\u7bc0\u3068\u5f93\u5c5e\u7bc0\u3092\u898b\u5206\u3051\u308b\u7df4\u7fd2\u3092\u884c\u3044\u3001\u6587\u304c\u8907\u6570\u306e\u90e8\u5206\u304b\u3089\u6210\u308a\u7acb\u3064\u3053\u3068\u3092\u7406\u89e3\u3057\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to our review, we also had a lesson about suffixes, exploring how adding endings to words can change their meaning or word type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u5fa9\u7fd2\u306b\u52a0\u3048\u3066\u3001\u63a5\u5c3e\u8f9e\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306e\u5b66\u7fd2\u3082\u884c\u3044\u3001\u5358\u8a9e\u306e\u8a9e\u5c3e\u3092\u52a0\u3048\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u610f\u5473\u3084\u54c1\u8a5e\u304c\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u5909\u308f\u308b\u304b\u3092\u63a2\u308a\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These review discussions helped bring together everything we have studied this unit and gave the students a clearer picture of how grammar works to make writing more accurate and effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u3053\u308c\u3089\u306e\u5fa9\u7fd2\u3092\u901a\u3057\u3066\u3001\u4eca\u56de\u306e\u30e6\u30cb\u30c3\u30c8\u3067\u5b66\u3093\u3060\u5185\u5bb9\u3092\u6574\u7406\u3057\u3001\u6587\u6cd5\u304c\u3069\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306b\u50cd\u3044\u3066\u6587\u7ae0\u3092\u3088\u308a\u6b63\u78ba\u3067\u52b9\u679c\u7684\u306b\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u304b\u3092\u3001\u751f\u5f92\u305f\u3061\u306f\u3088\u308a\u306f\u3063\u304d\u308a\u3068\u7406\u89e3\u3059\u308b\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"498\" data-id=\"292203\" src=\"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-09-25-09.57.16-1024x498.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-292203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-09-25-09.57.16-1024x498.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-09-25-09.57.16-300x146.jpg 300w, https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-09-25-09.57.16-768x373.jpg 768w, https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-09-25-09.57.16-1536x747.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/2025-09-25-09.57.16-2048x996.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Practicing for FICTS Nagano 2025<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This week our students have been preparing for their presentations at the 2025 FICTS Nagano International Sports Film Festival. After watching the documentary Maxim the Greatest \u2013 Disabled Skateboard, they discussed the film\u2019s themes of perseverance, courage, and inclusivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students then worked in groups to plan their presentations, creating short speeches and designing slides to show their ideas. They also rehearsed in front of the class, practicing clear speaking voices and eye contact while giving and receiving feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With each practice, their confidence has grown. They are excited to share their reflections at the September 28 event, which will include filmmakers visiting from Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u4eca\u9031\u3001\u751f\u5f92\u305f\u3061\u306f2025\u5e74FICTS\u9577\u91ce\u56fd\u969b\u30b9\u30dd\u30fc\u30c4\u6620\u753b\u796d\u3067\u306e\u767a\u8868\u306b\u5411\u3051\u3066\u6e96\u5099\u3092\u9032\u3081\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u30c9\u30ad\u30e5\u30e1\u30f3\u30bf\u30ea\u30fc\u6620\u753b\u300eMaxim
