As winter slowly comes to an end, the snow has begun to melt, changing the children’s outdoor play in exciting ways. While they are still enjoying sledding, they have also become very interested in the puddles and muddy snow that appear as the weather warms.

The children splash in small puddles, step into the soft, slushy snow, and explore the mix of snow and mud with great curiosity. They notice how the snow feels different—wet, sticky, and squishy compared to the fluffy snow of midwinter. Through these seasonal changes, they are discovering new textures and experiences, fully enjoying the transition from winter to spring.

The children were very proud of climbing up the small hill by themselves and sledding down on their own. They happily tried again and again.

During indoor play, the children created crafts based on each month’s theme. They made projects inspired by the alphabet and freely explored different materials that engaged their five senses.
