{"id":240167,"date":"2023-12-15T16:51:19","date_gmt":"2023-12-15T07:51:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/matsumoto.isnedu.org\/?p=219254"},"modified":"2024-10-15T16:05:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T07:05:56","slug":"how-we-express-ourselves-savanna-12-11-12-15","status":"publish","type":"shimauchi-campus","link":"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/en\/shimauchi-campus\/how-we-express-ourselves-savanna-12-11-12-15\/","title":{"rendered":"How We Express Ourselves!- Savanna (12\/11 &#8211; 12\/15)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the main purposes or goals of the current unit is to help our inquirers express themselves in various ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"219554\" src=\"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Shonsshi.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-219554\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the focal point of our unit is about celebration, The Savanna class also talked about how they&#8217;d be able to express themselves and tell the story of their play to their audience. After many rehearsals and practices, we came up with a rule that should be followed during the dialogue on the stage: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1. &#8220;Big voice&#8221; -&gt; They concluded that if their voices were not loud enough, the audience would not be able to understand the story. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2. &#8220;Big Action&#8221; -&gt; They realized that actions also help the audience to understand the story, so it is very important to always make a big and clear action during the play. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3.  &#8220;Not too fast&#8221; -&gt; This phrase pertains to their speech speed. Since our actors are so used to speaking the English language, their speed when talking tends to be fast, but, will that help the audience understand the story? Is it good to do during a play? The answer is negative, and that&#8217;s why, they set a goal, not to just deliver their lines and words clearly but also at a moderate speed. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4. Eye Contact -> As a novice actor, it is inevitable to feel shy and look away when having a dialogue, but since the goal is to deliver a good story, our Savanna Actors worked hard to overcome their shyness and always have eye contact both with their co-actors and their audience during the play.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The play may not have been perfect and could have been better, but to make it perfect was not the goal, but to be able to make our parents elated, be able to tell the story, and most importantly enjoy the play and have a sense of satisfactory and be proud of our selves after the whole project! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"219263\" src=\"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_6670-2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-219263\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"219269\" src=\"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_6702-1024x767.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-219269\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-4 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"219556\" src=\"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_2023-12-13-11-32-17-108-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-219556\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"219557\" src=\"https:\/\/isnedu.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_2023-12-13-11-32-40-692-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-219557\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the bottom of our hearts, we extend our gratitude to everybody for being part of the show!
