As part of the IB Learner Profile, being knowledgeable is one of our goals. To gain knowledge, we need to find out the facts and experience the learning. Canyon has been doing just that! We are learning so much with all our senses. We see, move, and listen to the many different types of transportation. This week, we read a book about wheels, and saw pictures illustrating the different vehicles. We learned the names and the different parts of a vehicle through videos too. That is our research! Best of all, students are in the centre the learning when they bring books and toy vehicles to school for Show and Tell. This is Canyon’s way of being a student-centred IB learning environment.
