I am so proud of Shooting Star! They sat in their chairs for a little over an hour during the ceremony. They sat quietly and properly. They paid attention with eyes and ears on the speakers. They spoke loudly and clearly when it was their turn to say their “Thank You” to Milky Way. Fantastic Shooting Star, you did Great!
We finished our writing books and sent them home. Please enjoy looking at them from beginning to end and see the progress your student has made. They worked hard and learned well.
These final three days we will go to our last swimming class as Shooting Star on Monday. Tuesday as long as the weather is nice, we will go on our last park outing as Shooting Star to Shonai Park. Wednesday will be a special day. Miss Rie has allowed Miss Annette to make Wednesday a Celebration Party Day! In America the last day of school is always a party. We will have some sweet-but not too sweet treats and play games and have a fun, festive last day!
It will be especially hard to say good-bye to this class for me because I have had the privilege of teaching them for the past two years; as Aurora first and now Shooting Star. I am happy to see them advance to Mr. Chris’ Milky Way Kindergarten Class. Next year they will be the first graduates to come through the entire school to graduate. That will be very special.
Parents, your children are incredibly wonderful little people. I was amazed by them at every moment. They learned so well. I hope I have helped to spark the love of learning in them so that they will continue to strive to learn for their entire lifetime. A sincere thank you to you for allowing me to be their teacher, though they taught me things as well. Thank you very much.
