Shooting Star September 24 – 27

Hello everyone! We had a very short week but it has been full of activities. First we went to the park. It’s been a long time since we walked to the park further away from school, but the students did a great job walking all the way there and back. At the park most of the students collected a lot of acorns. Some of the piles were so big!
今週はいつもよりも少し遠くの公園へ散歩に出かけることができました！公園にはたくさんのドングリが落ちていて、たくさん集めてドングリの山やドングリケーキを作るのに夢中になっていました。子どもたちは、木の葉の色が変わっていたり、落ち葉をふんでみたりと”It’s fall!”と言って秋の気配を感じることができました。

The next day we finished our bat mask craft before going to the Sports Festival rehearsal. All the students picked different colors for the eyes so the masks all looked so cool and colorful.
来月末にはハロウィーンパーティーがありますね。最近、朝の時間にハロウィンのキャラクターを描いたり、ハロウィンソングを歌ったりと楽しみな子どもたち。クラスでは、コウモリのお面を作りました。目の部分にカラーセロハンを貼り、それぞれカラフルなお面が出来上がりました！

On Friday we had the Sports Festival! The students have been working so hard for so long to prepare. They all did such a wonderful job and we had a lot of fun. We are so proud of every single one of them!

この日のために、一生懸命練習してきたパラシュートやレース。子どもたち一人ひとりが頑張る姿があり、みんなキラキラと輝いていましたね！ご家族の皆様、保護者競技の綱引きにご参加くださったり、盛大な応援をありがとうございました！
