A rainy week is behind us. This means we weren’t able to play so much outside, but this never presents for the Project A Class, because having our computers with us means we are able to find a lot of fun activities indoors as well! The students love both programming in Scratch and playing the games they created themselves. They also enjoy showing it to their friends and we are working on uploading the games online, so anyone interested can play the games created at ISN, be it the students’ parents, friends or anyone from around the world. The programming community is a close-knit one after all!
Our main task for this week was to start work on Google Sheets, which is a powerful software capable of creating long and complex spreadsheets. The students were excited to learn how it can be used to create their own daily timetables, but we also started learning about functions and how we can use the software to solve mathematical problems for us.
We even made math fun – that’s the power of the Project A Class.
