Our friends are back! We were so excited to see them again in person after 2 weeks! That’s why we were so energetic and loud singing the Hello song on Tuesday.
２週間も会っていなかったお友達と再会しました✨ その喜びを朝の会で表現しました😁元気にそして大きな声でハローソングを歌った火曜日でした。
Halloween Party!
The wait is over! Finally! The much awaited Halloween party is here! We’ve had talks about what we’re gonna be on this special day, and we’ve gotten even more excited hearing our friends talk about their costumes.
待ちに待った時間がやってきました😍ずーっと心待ちにしていたハロウィンパーティーです🎃 今日、このスペシャルな日に何をするかお話しをした後、仮想して来たみんなのお友達のコスチュームの話をして更に気分があがり↑パーティースタートです。
It’s the end of the week but our energy seems like the week has just begun. The part started with greetings and picture taking of each class. We then moved on to playing games like ring toss, Hit the Ghost, Fish the Monster, and bowling. We made a Halloween lantern for our craft activity. We also did trick or treating with our lamp/ basket. We finished the party by pulling the pinata for more treats.
今日は平日最後の日金曜日ですが、まるで月曜日の様に元気に写真撮影から始まりました。そして、各クラスで用意されているゲームスタートです🎃 ring toss, Hit the Ghost, Fish the Monster, and bowlingと楽しいゲームが用意してあり、トリックオアトリートの時間やランタンを作るクラフトの時間もありました。最後にピニャータ割りもしました🤩
UOI: 1, 2, 3 Which one comes first?
As the Line of Inquiry 2 states, there are ways to understand a story. One of them is understanding the plot or the sequence of events– beginning, middle, and end. We numbered the pictures 1, 2, and 3 according to how the events progress just by looking carefully at the pictures. We also arranged the order of events of the story Hansel and Gretel.
UOIのレッスンです。Line of Inquiry 2 はthere are ways to understand a story(お話の理解する方法)を探究しています。ストーリーには beginning, middle, とend 様に三段階になっているのも１つですね。クラスのアクティビティーでは３つのイベントの絵が描いていある紙に順番から並べました📚 ヘンゼルとグレーテルのお話もやりました👧👦
Another way to understand the story further is by answering the 5 W’s– Who is/ are involved?, What happened?, Where did it happen?, When did it happen?, and Why did it happen? We drew the characters and events in the story Hansel and Gretel to answer those 5 questions.
もっと、ストーリーをよく理解する為に５W(誰が、どうしたか、どこで、いつ、なぜ)も考えていきます。ヘンゼルとグレーテルのお話でこの５Wについて考えてみました 👧👦
Swimming
It’ s Milky Way’s turn this week. We had to cancel our swimming lessons in the past two weeks, but now we’re back!
今週はMilky Wayのお友達のスイミングレッスンの番でした🏊２週間ぶりのレッスンでは沢山の笑顔を見る事が出来ました✨
Math
While Milky Way were having their swimming lesson, we had our Math lesson about more, less, and equal. We did a dice activity with our partners and identified the more, less, or equal numbers on the dice after rolling it, then listed the numbers down on a sheet of paper to report after.
Milky Wayのお友達がスイミングへ行っていたときはShooting Starのお友達は算数のレッスンをしました。ペアになってサイコロのアクティビティーをしました⚂ ペアのお友達が振ったサイコロと自分のサイコロを比べてその数が大きい、小さい、それか同じかをシートへ書いてその後レポートしました⚀⚃
Craft
This week’s craft activity was the last day of our Halloween-related craft. We made cute, creepy pencil toppers! We made a ghost or/ and spider topper.
クラフトは先週に引き続きハロウィンがテーマで行いました✂今回はかわいく気持ち悪いペンのキャップを作りました。ゴーストやスパーダ―を作りました😁
GYM
We polished the same routines this week like double somersault, wheelbarrow walk going forward and backwards, and more.
ジムレッスンはいつものルーティン前転２回、手押し車で前に進んだり、後ろに下がったり磨きをかけました❣
