Hello Parents!
Sorry for the long time no post.
I am happy to say the students continuously are growing and enhancing their skills every day.
This week we have been looking at different places in the city with our spelling words from the week before department store, post office, park, movie theater, supermarket, and library. We used these words to discover some new verbs to use in sentences when talking about visiting these places. Also we have begun to build our own cities in art class to learn about what is needed within our city.
We also started to learn about different ways we can take care of our city such as recycling our metals, plastics, and papers and making sure that all of our rubbish goes into the bin.
We continued learning about fractions and were able to use this lesson to incorporate adding up to a certain numbers displayed.
The students are very bright and always surprise me with their knowledge and understanding.
