What vegetable is it?(Rainbow-October 15-18)

Hello everyone,

Here’s another fun week of learning and playing in Rainbow. This week, we’re focusing on the letter “F” and its sound, pronounced like “F-F-F.” We explored fun and engaging ways to help kids learn to recognize and pronounce “F.” We started by showing the letter “F” flashcard. We demonstrated the sound “F” makes by saying words like “fish,” “frog,” “flower” and more. We encouraged the kids to repeat the sound: “F”. They were eager to participate and showed being “Principled ” by raising their hands and sitting nicely for their name to be called. Well done, Rainbow!

Veggie Fun

We explore deeper about vegetables. Our students are getting more interested in vegetables. They were able to recognize them every time the lunch was served and they found vegetables on their plates and said their names. They enjoyed engaging in the Vegetable shadow matching. Everyone was so excited to pick up the cards and match them to the appropriate shadow on the wall.

Halloween Craft

Making a spider web wreath is a fantastic way to get into the Halloween spirit while encouraging kids to use their creativity and fine motor skills. We made a sample wreath to show the kids what the final product will look like, but encourage them to get creative and make it their own! They enjoyed making their pumpkins and ghosts using clay to decorate their wreath. For extra fun, they added Halloween-themed stickers, and some glittered stickers to make the wreath shine.

Playing Outdoors was fun. Kids enjoyed the cool breeze and burned off calories by running around and chasing with their friends and teachers.

Enjoy the weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday.
