Hello Everyone,

This week, Shooting Star class has got into another engaging learning activities. First, we made a reflection of our visit to the fire station last week through class discussion, worksheet checklist and drawing. Then, we made a thank you card for firefighters. We also had an excursion to the police station. The police officer welcomed us warmly and led us to a huge room where we gathered together and she began to distribute the brochure and explained to us the content, mainly, the jobs of police officers. Then, she showed us the tools she uses and showed us the animated video. After that, students got the chance to ask questions. The officer was so amazed with the ability of students asking questions in English. Students had a wonderful time chatting with the officer. Finally, the police officer guided us through the parking area to show us the police car and other vehicles and guess what? The officer granted our wish to get in the police car. After the visit, we carried out a reflection again through class discussion and worksheet checklist.

We had Phonics lesson and we learned the -um word family; gum, yum, sum, drum, and plum. Students were tasked to complete the matching worksheet activity and everyone did it perfectly.

Since our Music Concert is taking place next month, we devoted time practicing pianica in the afternoon. Students got better in playing their pianica. Well done, Shooting Star. Thank you dear parents for practicing them at home as well.
