Hello everyone!
みなさん、こんにちは。
Time flies so quickly when you are having fun! It’s already time to say goodbye to 2021 and welcome in the new year. We’ve had many great memories this year, and we made some new fun memories this week too!
楽しい時間が過ぎるのはとても早いですね。２０２１年ももう残りわずかになり、また新しい年が始まろうとしていますね。今年も子どもたちとたくさんの素晴らしい思い出があり、今週もみんなで楽しい思い出を作りました🤩
Swimming lesson
We are gradually doing more and more activities in the pool without the platforms now! This week, we used floating boards inside the pool. First, the kids had to jump inside the water while holding on to the board. Then, they used the board to glide across the water.
私たちは、ビート板を使ったレッスンを始めています☆彡水中の台なしに、プールの中に後ろ向きで入り、ビート板を持ち、あごをビート板の上に乗せてそのまま体を水に水平に浮かべます。体をしっかり伸ばし反対側まで進みます。その様子をご覧ください☺
Snow day!
We were lucky enough to have a snowy day this week! So, we put on our snow wear and headed outside! There are many ways to enjoy playing with the snow. Some chose to build a snowman, while others just wanted to roll around in the snow. Walking around also left a nice footprint in the snow. It was interesting to see what kind of different patterns were left after our shoes.
先週末たくさんの雪が降り積もったので、今週の初め私たちはみんなで園庭で雪遊びをしました⛄スノーウェアを着て外へ元気にでました⛄雪だるまを作ったり、雪の中を転がったり、スノーボールファイトをしたりとみんなそれぞれ思い思いに楽しみました。雪の中を歩き回ると、雪の中に素敵な足跡が残りました👣私たちの歩いた後の足跡👣はみんな違っていて、異なるパターンを見るのは興味深い事でした🤩
Christmas card
We finished our nice Christmas cards by drawing and writing a message inside the card. The students were all very excited to give the cards to their loved ones at home!
先週から作成しているクリスマスカード作りですが、いよいよ仕上げです🎄絵を描いたり、メッセージを書いたり、自分のお名前を書いたりと大好きなおうちの方へのクリスマスカードを完成させました🤩
Birthday party
We celebrated the birthday of three of our friends this week. We decorated the room to make it a little more festive. Then we had the birthday kids come up in front of the class. We always have a short interview with the birthday kids before we sing happy birthday together and giving them their birthday card. Everyone was able to answer all the questions very nicely with a clear voice!
今週は3人のお友達の誕生日のお祝いをしました。クラスを素敵に飾りパーティの準備をしました。そして、クラスの前に3人のお誕生日の子どもたちを迎えました。お誕生日おめでとうの歌を一緒に歌って誕生日カードを渡す前に、子どもたちにお誕生日のインタビューをしました🎂みんな上手にインタビューに答えていたね🤩みんなお誕生日おめでとう！！
We also had some balloons and an air pump. The kids got the chance to fill their balloons with air using the pump by themselves. Everyone eagerly pumped their balloons full of air!
クリスマスパーティの朝、なにやらクラスにはいつもと違うものが⁉風船とエアーポンプです🤩先生が一度やり方を見せると…みんながやりたい！！と挑戦し始めました。そんな様子を見ていると…風船をホースにつないで空気が抜けないように握る事、エアポンプを押すにはとても力がいる事、一緒に協力したらポンプを押せたこと、ホースにつないだ手を離してしまったら、風船がどこかへ勢いよく飛んで行ってしまい、びっくりしたけどなんだかとっても面白い事、もう一度やってみたくなったり、次はだれがやる？順番がある事、待つこと、膨らませたら先を先生に結んでもらうように頼み風船を追いかけて遊んだり、子どもたちの遊びの中からもリーダーシップや、社会性、自己主張、思いやり、創造性、発展性など子どもたち同士で考え、そしてそれを楽しむ力に成長を感じました🤩
Christmas party!
On our last day together, we decided that the whole day should just be fun and games, so we had an Aurora Christmas party! We had a variety of different activities and games planned for the party.
今年最後の日は、みんなで思いっきり楽しもうと，私たちはオーロラのクリスマスパーティを計画しました。パーティでは、さまざまなアクティビティやゲームをみんなで楽しみました。
We started the festivities by having a ball throwing game. The kids had to throw balls in to a few boxes stacked on a table. They were supposed to stay behind a yellow line when throwing the balls, but they had so much fun they sometimes forgot about the line! When the teacher blew a whistle, we stopped throwing, and counted all the balls together.
私たちは、ボール投げゲームをすることからパーティを始めました。テーブルの上に積み上げられたいくつかの穴の開いた箱にボールを投げ込んでいきます。先生の笛の音でスタート！！ボールを投げる時は黄色い線の後ろからというルールなのですが…とっても楽しすぎて時々線を忘れてしまいました！そして2回目の笛の音でストップ！そして、いくつ箱の中に入ったのかをみんなで数えていきました🤩3回戦行って、最後は３７個のボールが箱の中に入っていました🤩
Next up, we spread out a lot of Christmas themed flashcard in the table. The rules for this game was simple. Two students, equipped with fly swatters, would stand in front of the table. Another student would call out the name of one of the Christmas objects from the cards. The students with the swatter then had to find the correct card and hit it with the swatter.
次に今月のサブテーマである🎄クリスマスにちなんだ単語を使ったかるたゲームです。フラッシュカードを机に広げ、読まれたカードを取っていきます。カードを読むのは先生だけでなく、子どもたちも読んでいきました🤩前に出ている二人は、聞き逃さないようにしっかり聞いて読まれたカードをいち早く見つけていきます🤩Good job!!
For our final game we had a fun Christmas bingo! Instead of numbers, each card had pictures of different Christmas objects. When the kids got the bingo, they loudly yelled out “Bingo!”
最後のゲームでは、楽しいクリスマスビンゴです🤩数字の代わりに、各カードにはさまざまなクリスマスオブジェの絵が描かれています。子どもたちはビンゴになった時に、「ビンゴ！」と大きな声で叫びました🎄
We also went outside to plant some tulips! Each student got their own tulip bulb of their preferred color. We then put them in to the soil together outside before playing. We can’t wait to see them come out in the spring!
みんなで外へ出て、チューリップを植えました🌷。それぞれみんな自分の好きな色のチューリップの球根を選びました。次に、それらを一緒に外のプランターの土の中に植えていきました🤩春になって、芽が出て可愛いチューリップ🌷が咲くのが待ちきれません！お昼寝の後、チューリップはまだ？いつ咲くの？と聞いてくれたお友達がいました♡春が楽しみだね🤩
