Good day everyone! To prepare ourselves for the upcoming Christmas show event, Aurora kids have been taught to begin to work together as a team this week. We did some games that required teamwork such as hold and run with a ball with teammates and passing the balls to one another. We strongly believe that this will help our kids to communicate in harmony with each other and could bring out their best not by individual by as whole class in the upcoming event.
The UOI this week featured the feeling of anger. We first learned about the expressions on face when someone is angry, such as lips and eyebrows pulled down, showing teeth, and yelling. Besides that, we know that angry is not good always, so we also asked everyone to tell us “What do you do when you are angry?” and the kids participated well and gave their answers. Later we did a story telling on someone (Anger emoji) who is angry in different scenarios, and Aurora kids have to cure the anger by telling their solutions on how they overcome anger. Eventually, with the help of everyone, the angry face turned into a HAPPY face! Well done Aurora, now you know how to deal with your anger.
For the craft this week, we definitely did something related to Mexican Halloween, (the Halloween party is next week already! Time flies). We made and decorated the sugar skull! Each kid got the chance to color their decorations and then paste them on the skull. This is not an ordinary skull, but the most colorful skulls in the whole school, they are watching you at the hallway! Muahahahaha!
Last but not least, we went on a bus trip this week as well! The weather was chilly and nice, perfect weather for us to visit Akanuma Park. We had a great time and had our wonderful lunch boxes for lunch time. Thank you, mommy and daddy, for the Awesome lunch! We enjoyed it very much!
