Good day to all!
First and foremost, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to every one of you who attended our Open Day. Your presence meant a lot to us, and we hope you found the experience valuable and insightful. We are grateful for your support and look forward to continuing our partnership to nurture and develop the potential of our students.
The weather is getting hotter these days. It’s becoming more challenging for us, Rainbow, to stay comfortable outdoors for an extended period. We find ourselves reaching for cold drinks more often than we used to seeking shade. Please be extra careful when you go out and stay hydrated always.
Sea animals
For our sea animals activity, we made it more challenging and fun by putting the hula hoop between chairs to crawl in beneath the hoop, and when we reached the end, we chose one line-up flashcard to jump in and said its name.
Park
On the day that it was not too hot to go to the park, we were grateful that we made it with friends from higher classes. Having them to play with was more delightful; we felt how they cared for us while having so much fun. We hunted for the ants together, chasing each other and drawing fun faces using a stick.
Craft
We made a paper plate umbrella craft, perfect for a hot day when you want it to rain a little. It’s a simple and enjoyable activity that’s sure to bring a little bit of rain (or at least the illusion of it) into your day! 😊 A few of our friends didn’t want to stop making our umbrella until we told them to stop because we ran out of time.
Gym lesson
This week, in our gym lesson, we created the obstacles by ourselves, putting the stepping stones and the rings in any position we wanted and enjoyed with it. We imitated how the bear walks as well. Lastly, we requested to do one of our favorites, which was Catch Tail Game. This time, most of us wanted to put on the Tail Game Belt and run to protect, not to be taken away.
Music
This week, the teacher showed us a frog toy that jumped nicely; with the piano sound, we jumped like a frog. It was fun, but we could feel the strength from our upper legs ache and stiffen. Next, she showed us a picture of a robot and a corn maracas. She told us to listen to the sound of the piano to count how many times it sounded, and the scratch sound from the maracas should have been the same number of counts as the sound of the piano, and with that, we should exploit as a robot upon the scratch from the maracas.
Birthday party
This week, we had a birthday party for all June celebrants. Unfortunately, the Rainbow celebrant was absent due to sickness. Happy birthday to all the celebrants!!! We will have a small celebration next week in our class.
Here is another song we sang this week; enjoy singing with your little one!
Thank you for dropping by our blog, and may you have a great weekend!
