Hello everyone! It has been a fruitful and fun-filled year here in Canyon/Savanna class! Today is their last day as a member of this class and they are very excited to move to the next class which is Savanna/Rainforest class.
みなさん、こんにちは。キャニオン/サバンナクラスは、とても充実した楽しい1年となりました。今日はこのクラスでの最後の日。
This week, we only spent 3 days at school with our friends. We were able to finish the writing practice until letter Zz. We reviewed reading CVC words. We also secretly made a simple present for a special friend in our class who will continue her kindergarten journey to another school and for our teacher, Ms. Miyuki.
今週は3日間だけ、友達と一緒に園で過ごしました。Zzの文字まで書く練習を終えることができました。CVC単語の読み方を復習しました。また、これから違う幼稚園に通う大切なお友達と、担任のみゆき先生に、こっそり簡単なプレゼントを作りました。
Our friend really likes Elsa in the Frozen movie. We decided to make a castle using origami papers. Each of them contributed to the layout of the castle by drawing different shapes. Then, they cut out the shapes they drew on the board and pasted them on the big construction paper. I made Elsa, Anna, and Olaf paper dolls for her. Of course, she is Elsa. She chose one friend to be Anna and Olaf. We will really miss you here in ISN, our dear friend! We hope that you enjoy and find new friends in your new school!
私たちの友達は、「アナと雪の女王」のエルサがとても好きなんです。私たちは、折り紙でお城を作ることにしました。それぞれが違う形を描いて、お城のレイアウトを作りました。そして、ボードに描いた形を切り取って、大きな画用紙に貼り付けました。エルサ、アナ、オラフの紙人形を作ってあげました。もちろん、彼女はエルサです。彼女は一人の友達を選んで、アナとオラフになりました。ISNでは、あなたがいなくなると本当に寂しくなります。新しい学校でも、新しい友達を作って楽しんでくださいね。
We made a card for Ms. Miyuki, which says “WE ❤ OUR TEACHER! We used our fingerprints to decorate the heart. Each of them chose the color they wanted and stamped their fingers around the purple paper with their names written on it and on the white paper which I used to make a heart. We will also miss you here in ISN, Ms. Miyuki!
WE ❤ OUR TEACHER！と書かれた、みゆき先生へのカードを作りました。ハートの飾りつけには、指を使いました。それぞれ好きな色を選び、名前を書いた紫の紙とハートを作るのに使った白い紙の周りに指をスタンプしました。ISNでも、みゆき先生がいなくなるのは寂しいです。
On the last day of school, our boys and girls packed their stuff by themselves and cleaned up their lockers. Well done, everyone!
最終日には、男の子も女の子も自分たちで荷物をまとめて、ロッカーをきれいにしました。みんな、よく頑張ったね。
Lastly, we gave them a certificate for completing Kindergarten 1 (Canyon), Kindergarten 2 (Savanna) this school year. We are glad to see their reactions in receiving the certificate and feel sad at the same time because we will truly miss them! Good luck on your next journey, everyone!
最後に、今年度のキンダーガーテン1（キャニオン）、キンダーガーテン2（サバンナ）の修了証書を渡しました。修了証書を受け取った子どもたちの反応は、嬉しい反面、本当に寂しくなりますね。皆さん、次の学年に向けて頑張ってくださいね。
To our dear parents, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you all wholeheartedly for all your countless support, understanding, and cooperation in any school activities and events throughout the year. Each of us was challenged this year because of the pandemic, yet we all were able to overcome and continue to progress despite the challenges it caused us.
