After a long winter vacation, our little explorers in the Rainforest class were thrilled to reunite with their friends. The classroom buzzed with excitement as they eagerly shared stories and experiences from their time away, catching up on all they had missed.

This term, the class has embarked on an exciting new unit of inquiry centered around GROWTH. Together, we’ll explore the many facets of growth by interviewing people to learn about their past journeys and the experiences that shaped who they are today. Additionally, we’ll reflect on ways to grow into even better versions of ourselves in the future.

In Phonics, the students began by revisiting the blend sounds they learned last year before diving into new material. The teacher called out words, and the children identified and wrote the blend sounds on their boards. This interactive activity brought a joyful energy to the classroom as students practiced their skills while working collaboratively with their peers.

It’s wonderful to see the Rainforest class back together, ready to learn, grow, and support one another in the adventures ahead!
