This month, our class had the exciting opportunity to lead the School Assembly! Here’s a fun recap of what happened:
Morning Fun
We started off with some morning stretching to wake up our bodies and get ready for the day. After that, we announced the October birthdays and special celebrations happening this month. Happy birthday to all our friends!
Grade 2 Presentations
The Grade 2 students took the stage to share their amazing work about their hometowns, Matsumoto City and Azumino City. They prepared cool slides and even quizzed everyone! It was fun to learn about these places through their eyes.
Celebrating Achievements
We also recognized our Student of the Month for September. Congratulations! You are a fantastic role model for all of us!
Special Guest
The highlight of our assembly was a visit from our guest speaker, Mr. Howard Kingston. He introduced himself and talked about his job as an artist. Mr. Kingston shared some of the cool things he created when he was studying. He even invited us to join his project called “Oh No! Monsters!”, which is all about clay animation. Many students and teachers were super excited to join in!
Looking Ahead
We had such a great time seeing everyone again and remembering our school’s important agreements and behavior expectations. We can’t wait for the next assembly, which will be led by Grade 1!Thank you for reading our blog! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! Until next time, keep smiling and exploring!
