“Every family is unique and special”
We have proven this statement is correct during our inquiry about family. Our last project for the unit helped us conclude this hypothesis. We made a 3D community with different houses and different families. Each student presented their family members and their roles before placing the house on the community map. We saw that every family is unique and not all are the same.
“すべての家族はユニークで特別です”
「家族」についての探究の中で、この言葉が正しいことを色々なかたちで証明してきました。このユニットの最後のプロジェクトとして、さまざまな形の家族の家を製作し3Dコミュニティを作りました。サバンナさん達は、自分たちの家族ではない自分たちが考えた家族を描いて、紙袋のお家を作りました。コミュニティ・マップにその家を配置する前に、家族メンバーとそれぞれの役割をみんなの前で発表しました。どの家族にも個性があり、すべてが同じではなく、特別なことがわかりました。
Last Monday we were graced with the presence of 2 of the coaches of the famous soccer player in Matsumoto, The Yamaga team! They shared with us how to kick the ball like a pro and aim a goal and make a point! We all had fun and we surely will not forget our bonding with them.
月曜日は、地域のサッカーチーム「松本山雅FC」のコーチ2人をお招きして、サッカー教室をしていただきました！面白い鬼ごっこで体を温め、ドリブルのやり方、ディフェンス（お邪魔虫になったコーチたち）をかわしながらゴールをする方法など、楽しみながら自然にプロ選手のような技を学ぶことができました。とても楽しい時間を過ごし、忘れられない一日となりました。
We all love to laugh, and that is why we make sure that our teeth are clean and white. To do this, we reviewed what food is good and bad for our teeth. As we were reviewing we found that albeit candies are sweet, they are not really bad for our teeth because eating candies help us to exercise our tongue and thus will give us a healthy mouth including our teeth, that when chewing veggies, it’s better to eat a little big cut of vegetable compared to small ones, all of these are okay to do but of course with control, to only have moderate intake and always brush our teeth 2to3 times a day.
私たちは皆、笑うことが大好きで、だからこそ自分の歯をきれいで健康に保つことは大切ですね。６月の虫歯予防デーにちなんで、引き続き歯に良い食べ物と悪い食べ物について考えました。先週学んだことをよく覚えていて、「ドーナツ、キャンディー、チョコレートは歯にいいの？」と質問すると、「Noooooooooooooooo！」と答えが返ってきました。でも、どうしても食べたい時はどうすればいいかな？と聞くと、「少しなら大丈夫」、「歯をちゃんと磨けばいい」、などの答えが返ってきました。そのほか、歯を丈夫にするため大きめに切った野菜をよく噛むことが大切ということなど、みんな「Thinker（考える人）」になって自分の意見をたくさん共有することが出来ました！
The class received a nice gift! They are tadpoles and beetle larvae. Everyone enjoys observing the little tadpoles as they eat bread and gradually change their bodies.
Also, the cucumbers in the Savannah Garden have grown and we were able to harvest our first crop of cucumbers! Today at lunch time, everyone shared some of the cucumbers with each other. Everyone ate them in no time at all.
クラスに素敵なギフトが届きました！おたまじゃくしとカブトムシの幼虫です。小さなオタマジャクシにエサを与えたり、だんだんと体が変化していく様子を観察するのが、みんなの楽しみです。また、サバンナガーデンのキュウリも大きくなり、初めての収穫をすることができました！みんなで触って、「ちくちくする！」、「冷たい！」、など採れたてのキュウリの感触を楽しみました。今日のランチタイム、みんなでキュウリを分けて食べました。自分たちで作ったキュウリはとっても美味しくて、みんなあっという間に食べてしまいました。
It is really fun to learn and discover new things, being knowledgeable not only makes us unique but also special!
新しいことを学び、発見するのは本当に楽しいことです。知識が豊富であることは、私たちをユニークな存在にするだけでなく、特別な存在にもしてくれますね！
