UOI2 (Unit of Inquiry 2) – LOI2 (Line of Inquiry 2)

This week we continued with our UOI 2 (Unit of Inquiry 2) and we are now tackling our LOI 2 (Line of Inquiry 2) which is How to take care of farm animals. As as introduction we looked at some of the different animal shelters in the farm where the farm animals sleep and or stay and what they are called.

We had a fun farm story time about the farm, we imagined what a farm is and where the animals would go, using our miniature farm mini figures, we all helped build our farm. We called our farmer Old McDonald. It was fun to add more and more animals in our farm. The kids can now identify the farm animals, the sounds the animals make and the name of the mother and baby farm animals.

DANCE

Thank you to all the moms and dads who took time to watch the kids during the Open Dance Day it wasn’t perfect some of the kids were not in the mood for some reasons but some kids did their best.  

OUTSIDE PLAY/ PARK

Since we are not doing water play anymore, we are now either playing in the school playground or we go to the nearby park. It’s still hot outside during our outside play nevertheless the kids are all smiles and having lots of fun, we just make sure they drink lots of fluids and they stay under the shade where its cooler.

AUGUST BIRTHDAY PARTY
