ご入園、ご進級、誠におめでとうございます！キャニオンクラスへようこそ！島内キャンパスのこのキャニオンクラスでは、お子さんが世界を視野にたくさんのことを探求していけると思います。まだまだ小さな子どもたちですが、心は広く、そして意思は強くありたいですね！保護者の皆さま、ぜひご一緒に一年を思い切り楽しみましょう！
Our brand new school year started with the Welcome Ceremony. We are so glad to have 12 new students in our ISN family. In the first few days of school, there were some separation anxieties and tears. As our students eased into the new environment, they started playing, singing and dancing! We played a ball game to get to know one another. We sang ‘Hello’, ‘Good Morning’, talked about Spring and coloured in some cherry blossoms. We learned to say the words ‘marigold, cherry blossoms, flowers bloom’!
新しい生活は入園式から始まりました。キャニオンの１２名がISNファミリーとしてクラスに加わり、とても嬉しく思います！初めの数日は、パパママと離れる瞬間が悲しくて、涙がぽろぽろこぼれましたね。それでも少しずつ新しい環境に慣れてくると、遊び始めたり、お歌を歌ったり、ダンスをしたりと楽しみだす姿も見られるようになりました。ボールを使って、自己紹介ゲームも楽しみました！お歌はハローソングやGood Morningソングなどをみんなで歌い、Springについてお話したり桜の色塗りなども楽しみました！ 今週は、marigold（マリーゴールド）cherry blossoms（桜）そしてflowers bloom！（お花が咲いたね！）などの英語にフォーカスしました。
We had our first music lesson with the Japanese teacher and Canyon had so much fun dancing to the music. We played our very first instrument too – the castanet. Canyon was really good at listening to instructions. They sang and played a song about a ‘buta’ pig! We had gym lesson too and it went well.
初めてのMusicクラスも経験しました。Music講師、西村先生と一緒に楽しく活動をしました。そして、なんと、楽器にも触れてみました。初めての楽器はカスタネット！！子ども達は初めてにもかかわらず、Musicレッスンを楽しみ、先生の指示も良くけていました。「トントントン、どなたです？私は豚ですブーブーブー！」と歌いながら、トントントンとブーブーブーの2か所をカスタネットで３回ずつ叩く、というアクティビティーをしました。また金曜日には初めてのジムレッスン（体育）もありました！
Every morning, we would go outdoor to play. We played in the schoolyard and took the school bus to a nearby park too. We spotted pink cherry blossoms in the park! Canyon not only play hard, but we eat well and sleep well too. A balanced school life is what we seek!
毎朝、戸外遊びを楽しんでいます！園庭で遊んだり、スクールバスに乗って近くの公園にも出かけたりしました。公園内に咲く桜の木に目を止め奇麗だねーとみんなで観察もしました。遊びだけではなく、給食もしっかり食べ、ゆったりとしたお昼寝もできました。

We read a book “Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?” and watched a short video story “Spring Has Come” about a brown bear too! Till next Monday, have a lovely weekend!
