🌞 All Aboard the Summer Season — Hot, Messy, and Full of Fun! 🌿
This week, we kicked off one of our most beloved ISN traditions — muddy play!
It’s an experience that our students look forward to every year. Getting a little messy isn’t just fun — it’s also great for their immune system, creativity, and sensory development. Last year, some of them were a bit hesitant when they were still in the Canyon class. But this time around? Total mud-lovers! It’s been such a joy watching them dive in (literally!) with big smiles and confidence, enjoying every squishy moment with their friends.
夏に向かって出発進行！— 暑くて、わちゃわちゃで、楽しさ満載！
子どもたちが毎年楽しみにしている泥んこ遊びがついにスタート！泥に触れ、その感触や冷たさを感じる事は、ただ楽しいだけじゃなく、免疫力や創造力、感覚の発達にもとっても良いんです。まだキャニオンクラスだった頃は、ちょっとためらっていた子もいました。でも今年はどうでしょう？すっかり泥遊びのトリコに！全身で（文字通り！）泥に飛び込んで、ニコニコ笑顔と自信いっぱい。お友だちと一緒にどろどろの瞬間を楽しむ姿に、私たちも大喜びです。
💦 On top of that, we also had a blast at Hirase Park, where the kids cooled off in the artificial river! They walked, jumped, splashed, and soaked up the summer vibes — staying refreshed while having the time of their lives.
さらに今週は、平瀬緑地にも遊びに行ってきました！子どもたちは人工の小川で涼みながら大はしゃぎ！歩いたり、ジャンプしたり、水しぶきを上げたりしながら、思いっきり夏の雰囲気を楽しみました。涼しさを感じながら、最高の時間を過ごせたようです。

📚 Back in the Classroom — Big Milestones, Little Learners! 🌟
We’ve officially wrapped up our inquiry cycle, and our little inquirers have come a long way!
They now understand that families come in many different forms, and that’s something to celebrate. This unit has helped them become more open-minded, caring, and aware that every family is unique, and that’s perfectly okay!

私たちの探究サイクル、ファミリーについてのユニットがついに完了しました！サバンナのみんなは、楽しみながらたくさんの事を学んできました。今では、家族にはいろいろな形があることをしっかり理解しています。それはまさに、祝うべき気づきです。このユニットを通して、子どもたちはより心を開き、思いやりをもち、そしてどの家族もそれぞれに特別で、それでいいんだということに気づくことができました。
🧠✨ On the literacy side, exciting things are happening too!
Our emerging readers have started practicing with word families — this week, we focused on -AT and -AG. While reading is still a new concept for many, the children are doing a fantastic job sounding out each letter and blending them together. It’s a challenge they’re facing with lots of joy and determination — the best combo for lifelong learning!
リテラシーの面でも、ワクワクするような成長がたくさん見られています！
今週からワードファミリー（同じ語尾の単語グループ）の練習をスタートしました！今週は、-ATと-AGにフォーカス。まだ「読む」ということ自体が初めての子も多いですが、一文字ずつ音を読み、それをつなげ、単語として読めるよう練習しています。ゲームなど遊びの要素を取り入れながら、喜びとやる気いっぱいで取り組んでいますよ！
✏️ Meanwhile, in Savanna Class, we’re making big writing strides!
The kids have mastered uppercase letters, and now they’re exploring lowercase writing, starting with c, a, and o. They’ve had so much fun tracing, writing, and playing with these letters — and we’d love your support in practicing at home too!
また、ライティングのスキルもぐんぐん伸びています！子どもたちはすでに大文字の書き方をマスターし、次は小文字にチャレンジ中。今週はc、a、oの練習を始めました。なぞったり、書いたり、遊びながら文字に親しんでいます。鉛筆の持ち方等も含め、ご家庭でもぜひ一緒に練習してみてください！

今日、5月に作ったファミリーデーのクラフトを持ち帰りました！大好きなお家の人たちを思い浮かべながら描いた滲み絵のお花を、一生懸命切った画用紙に乗せ、かわいいブーケにしました。「いつもありがとう！I LOVE YOU !! と言いながら、お家の人に渡してね」と子どもたちに伝えてあります😊笑顔と感謝の気持ちでプレゼントできていますように💐どうぞご家族皆さまで、素敵な週末をお過ごしください✨
