Waterfall happily started to celebrate the hot summer weather by playing outside in the mud and sprinklers. They enjoyed their first adventure in the mud and some were surprised, but excited about how it felt in their hands. They are learning to be risk-takers who can enjoy new things. They also tried to find the colorful rainbow at the end of the sprinklers!
Waterfallでは、暑い夏の到来を祝って、園庭で泥んこ遊びやシャワー遊びを初めました！泥遊び用の服に着替えて、裸足で泥の中へ！初めての泥の感触に「べちゃべちゃ？！」「変な感じ！！」「It’ cool!」とおっかなびっくりだった子どもたちですが、どんどん楽しくなり気づくと全身どろんこ、びしょ濡れに。新しいことにチャレンジする「Risk-takers」として、いろいろな体験を楽しみました。シャワーの先に虹を見つけようとする姿もかわいかったです♪
Waterfall knows to look outside for blue skies to see if the weather is good for going to the park. So, they went to Blue Park and found new flowers blooming! They are open-minded and caring, whether they are helping each other on the swings or just enjoying the beautiful view together!
教室から見える空を眺めて「今日は公園に行けるかな？」と考えられるようになってきたWaterfallの子どもたち。ブルーパークに出かけ、咲き始めたお花を見つけました。ブランコでお友だちの背中を押してあげたり、一緒に景色を楽しんだりと、思いやりの気持ちや広い心が育っている様子がたくさん見られました。
Since Waterfall students are working on their UOI books about Who We Are, and talking about sharing some interests, and liking different things, they have started finding things that they like to do together. Some student like to build cameras and take photos of friends. They also really enjoy building the Shinkansen and ordering food together.
UOI（探究の時間）では、「Who We Are」というテーマのもと、自分の好きなものをまとめた本の制作をしています。お友達に好きなことをシェアしながら、お互いの違いや共通点を見つけていくうちに、一緒に楽しめることが広がってきているように感じています。最近では、ブロックでカメラを作ってお友だちの写真を撮りあったり、イスを並べて電車を作ってごっこ遊びをしたり、おままごとで食べ物を注文しあうことが人気です。
In Phonics Waterfall students stretched to the ABC Dance song. Students excitedly chose the first letter in their names in the ABC cards and their favorite color pens. Waterfall is practicing holding the pens, tracing their own names, capital letters A-C, and singing the ABC song from Starfall.com. https://www.starfall.com/h/abcs/?mg=k
フォニックスの時間には、「ABCダンス」の歌に合わせて体をのびのび動かしました。そのあと、自分の名前の最初の文字をABCカードの中から選び、お気に入りの色のペンでなぞり書きをしました。ペンの持ち方を練習しながら、自分の名前や大文字のA～Cをなぞってみたり、「Starfall.com」のABCソングを楽しく歌っています。
