Hello everyone!
We hope you are all staying well during these hot days. This week, the weather was just too hot for outdoor play, so we enjoyed lots of fun indoor activities instead.
The children stayed active and happy, exploring new games and creative play inside, while keeping cool and comfortable.

暑い日が続きますが、皆様お元気でお過ごしでしょうか。今週は屋外で遊ぶには暑すぎたので、代わりに楽しい屋内アクティビティをたくさん楽しみました。
みんなで涼しく快適に過ごしながら、室内で新しいゲームや創造的な遊びを見つけ、アクティブに楽しく過ごしました。
For the final UOI activities, the Aurora counted the number of people in the families and drew lovely pictures of them. The Shooting Star discussed and wrote down the types of chores done at home and who is responsible for them.
In this unit, it was a great way for the children to think about their own families and learn how everyone helps each other in different ways.
最後のUOIのアクティビティとして、オーロラさんは家族の人数を数え、家族の素敵な絵を描きました。シューティング・スターさんは、家ではどんな家事を誰がしているのかを話し合い、書いていきました。
今回のユニット単では自分たちの家族について考え、みんながさまざまな方法で助け合っていることを学ぶ、素晴らしい機会となりました。
Aurora had lots of fun at the swimming lesson this week. They swam through the water with big smiles, gliding like little crocodiles! No one was afraid of the water at all. They enjoyed every moment in the water.
今週、オーロラさんはスイミングレッスンでたくさん楽しんできました。小さなワニのように滑るように、満面の笑みで水の中を泳いだりもしました！誰も水を怖がることもありません。水の中での一瞬一瞬を楽しんでいました。
Shooting Star made Tanabata decorations this week.
We started by sharing the story of Tanabata, and everyone listened with great curiosity and interest.
Then, they folded origami paper and carefully cut out star shapes. When they opened their papers and saw the pieces of stars, their faces lit up with joy. They were so excited and kept saying Beautiful!! as they admired their work.
流れ星は今週、七夕飾りを作りました。
まずは七夕の物語を紹介すると、みんな興味津々で耳を傾けました。
そして折り紙を折り、星の形を丁寧に切り抜きました。折り紙を開いて星の形を見たとき、みんなの顔は喜びでいっぱいになりました。みんな大興奮で、自分の作品を眺めながら「きれい！」と言い続けていました。
This week, we said goodbye to a friend from the Shooting Star class. We played together, laughed together, and sometimes even had little disagreements, but every moment we shared became a special memory.
Goodbyes are never easy, but we know our friend will shine just as brightly in their new place. With big smiles and warm wishes, we sent him off with lots of love.
We’ll always be cheering you on, no matter where you are!
今週、私たちはシューティングスタークラスのお友達に別れを告げました。一緒に遊んだり、笑ったり、時にはちょっとした意見の食い違いもあったけれど、共有した一瞬一瞬が特別な思い出になりました。
お別れは決して簡単なものではありませんが、お友達が新しい場所で同じように輝いてくれることを私たちは知っています。満面の笑みと温かな願いを込めて、私たちはたくさんの愛で彼を見送ったのでした。
あなたがどこにいても、私たちはいつも応援しているよ！
