Hello everyone!
Our two-week Summer Program has kicked off this week! Get ready for days filled with splashes, sunshine, and the joyful sound of laughter echoing across the campus.
We welcomed two familiar faces and a brand-new friend into our classroom. It was always exciting to meet new friends. How they bonded so quickly was truly amazing.
私たちの2週間のサマープログラムが今週スタートしました！水しぶき、日差し、そしてキャンパス中に響き渡る笑い声に満ちた日々が待っています。 私たちのクラスには2人の馴染みのお友達と1人の新しいお友達が加わりました。新しいお友達と出会うのはいつもワクワクします。みんながこんなにも早く絆を深めたことは本当に驚きました。
Day 1
On our first day, we had a juicy summer fun creating a watermelon craft. We had a refreshing and colorful time creating their very own watermelon crafts, which strengthened our creativity and color recognition.
初日は、スイカの手作りクラフト作りで、楽しい夏の一日を過ごしました。自分だけのスイカの手作りクラフトを作ることで、創造力と色認識力を養う、爽やかでカラフルな時間を過ごしました。
Day 2
Our second day was packed with fun and excitement as we gathered for a delightful movie time! The children voted on what they wanted to watch, and the winning choices were Curious George and Paw Patrol. After the movie, we shared our thoughts and had a lovely discussion about what we had seen.
2日目は、楽しい映画鑑賞会で盛りだくさんの一日となりました！みんなで観たい映画を投票し、選ばれた作品は『おさるのジョージ』と『パウ・パトロール』でした。映画鑑賞後、私たちは感想を語り合い、観た内容について楽しい議論を交わしました。
Day 3
Our Shooting Stars created beautiful hydrangea flowers, while the Aurora class explored painting to make their own unique artwork. It was amazing to see how focused and engaged they were during the entire activity!
シューティング・スターのみんなは美しいアジサイの花を制作し、オーロラクラスはペインティングに挑戦し、それぞれ自分たちだけのオリジナルアート作品を作りました。活動中、彼らがどれだけ集中し、熱心に取り組んでいたかは本当に驚くべきものでした！
Day 4
We tackled two engaging activities today—jump rope and a “shoes” game. At first, everyone found it tricky to nail the timing, but with a bit of practice, we gradually improved. The Shooting Stars had a blast discovering how important it is to move in rhythm with the rope, and we’re excited to keep exploring this activity in the future!
この日は2つの楽しい活動に取り組みました——縄跳びと「靴」ゲームです。最初はみんな、タイミングを合わせるのに苦労しましたが、少し練習を重ねるうちに、徐々に上達していきました。シューティング・スターさんたちは、縄とリズムを合わせて動くことがどれだけ重要か発見し、大いに楽しみました。今後もこのアクティビティをさらに深めていきたいと、私たちは楽しみにしています。
Day 5
This was the most anticipated day for our Shooting Stars and Auroras—a truly special moment in our summer program! It was our very first watermelon smashing, and the excitement was in the air. To make it more challenging for Shooting Stars, we covered our eyes when we smashed it! We were all thrilled to enjoy the juicy watermelon and have lunch together with the Milky Way friends! We were delighted to sing a birthday song for one of our new friends in the Milky Way class. It was such a joyful moment, and we hope to celebrate in the future.
この日は、私たちのシューティングスターさんとオーロラさんたちにとって最も待ち望まれた日でした——サマープログラムにおけるまさに特別なる瞬間！初めてのスイカ割りイベントで、会場は興奮に包まれていました。シューティングスターさんたちにはより挑戦的な体験をしてもらうため、スイカを割る際に目を覆いました！皆でジューシーなスイカを楽しみ、ミルキーウェイの仲間たちと共にランチを共有する時間は、本当に嬉しかったです！ミルキーウェイクラスの新しい友達の誕生日を祝うために、誕生日ソングを歌うこともできてとっても嬉しかったです。本当に楽しいひとときで、今後もお祝いできることを願っています。
Water Play
Every day, the Aurora and Shooting Star classes enjoyed fun-filled water play together! We took part in exciting activities like water balloon games, balloon fishing, and much more.
毎日、オーロラさんとシューティングスターさんは、一緒に楽しい水遊びを満喫しました！水風船ゲームや風船釣りなど、盛りだくさんの楽しい活動にチャレンジしました。
