This week, we had a special guest — a rabbit! The teacher brought the rabbit to school to give us an experiential learning opportunity related to our unit. We learned about the rabbit’s basic needs and how to take care of them. We also observed its unique features and practiced being gentle and caring. Thank you, Oliver — we hope to see you again!

今週は特別なゲストとして、ウサギが来てくれました！
先生がユニット学習に関連した体験型の学びを提供するために、ウサギを学校に連れてきてくれたのです。
私たちはウサギの基本的な「必要なもの」について学び、それらをどのように満たすかを考えました。
また、ウサギの小さな特徴を観察し、優しく思いやりを持って接することの大切さも学びました。

We also went on a bus trip to Togakushi Farm, which was an exciting event that everyone at ISN had been talking about all week! There, we got to pet and feed the animals and experience being close to them. It was a wonderful opportunity that connected perfectly with our unit. During the trip, we enjoyed a fun quiz that encouraged us to explore every corner of the farm. Nothing beats spending a joyful day together with our teachers and upper-grade friends!

さらに、戸隠牧場へのバス遠足にも行きました！
この日はISNのみんなが一週間ずっと楽しみにしていた特別な一日でした。
牧場では、動物たちに触れたり、近くで観察したり、エサをあげたりする体験をしました。
この活動も私たちのユニット学習と深く関係しています。
遠足中には楽しいクイズもあり、牧場のすみずみまで探検するモチベーションになりました。
先生や上級生のみんなと一緒に過ごす時間は、本当に楽しくて最高の思い出になりました！
