A Fun Day at the Park!
What a wonderful day we had on our bus trip to the park!
When we arrived, we walked straight to the playground! We climbed up the wall and the playground and slid down the slide. Some of us also enjoyed the zipline and the seesaw—it was so much fun taking turns and cheering for our friends! Others played a lively game of dodgeball, running and laughing together. Laughter filled the air as we played and explored.
バスで公園へ行った日は、本当に素晴らしい一日でした！
到着すると、すぐに遊び場へ！壁や遊具を登ったり、滑り台を滑ったりしました。ジップラインやシーソーも楽しんでいました。順番に友達を応援するのは本当に楽しかったです！ドッジボールで元気に走り回ったり、一緒に笑ったりする子もいました。遊びや探検を楽しんでいると、笑い声が辺り一面に響き渡りました。
We also enjoyed the little things in nature—jumping and splashing in puddles, and picking up shiny acorns we found on the ground. It was a perfect mix of play and discovery!
At lunchtime, we spread out our picnic mats on the grass and ate together under the bright, sunny sky. The fresh air made our food taste even better!
自然の中でのちょっとした楽しみも満喫しました。水たまりでジャンプしたり、水しぶきをあげたり、地面に落ちているキラキラ輝くどんぐりを拾ったり。遊びと発見が絶妙に融合した時間でした！
お昼は、芝生にピクニックマットを広げて、明るい晴れた空の下、みんなで食事をしました。新鮮な空気のおかげで、食べ物の味も格段に良くなりました！
It was a fun-filled day full of friendship, laughter, and outdoor adventure. We can’t wait for our next trip! 🌿💛

UOI: Our Model Tree Presentations 🌳🍒🥥🍊
This week, our class proudly presented our model trees to show what we’ve learned about the different parts of a tree and their functions. Each team worked hard to build their own creative tree model and explain how each part helps the tree grow strong and healthy.
The Maker Team made a coconut tree. Aside from pointing out the different parts of a tree, the team also discussed that trees give us oxygen. However, we have an I Wonder question: how do trees give us oxygen? We will find out the answer to this in the next few weeks.
今週、クラスは木の様々な部位とその役割について学んだことを、誇らしげに模型の木を披露しました。各チームは、それぞれが独創的な木の模型を作り、それぞれの部位がどのように木を強く健やかに成長させるのかを説明しようと、一生懸命に取り組みました。
Makerチームはヤシの木を作りました。木の様々な部位を説明しただけでなく、木は私たちに酸素を与えてくれることについても話し合いました。しかし、私たちには不思議な疑問があります。木はどのように酸素を与えてくれるのでしょうか？この答えは、今後数週間で明らかになるでしょう。
The Rainbow Glass Team created a beautiful orange tree. They shared that flowers come first and turn into fruits, which hold seeds to grow new trees. They also explained how the branches spread out to hold the leaves and fruits.
レインボーグラスチームは美しいオレンジの木を作りました。まず花が咲き、それが実になり、実の中に種が溜まって新しい木が育つこと、そして枝が広がって葉と実をつける仕組みについても説明しました。
The Crystal Team presented a lovely cherry tree. They explained how the roots hold the tree firmly in the ground and take in water and nutrients, while the trunk helps the tree stand tall and strong. Their model showed great teamwork and creativity!
クリスタルチームは美しい桜の木を展示しました。根が木をしっかりと地面に支え、水分と栄養分を吸収し、幹が木を高く強く支えていることを説明しました。彼らの模型は素晴らしいチームワークと創造性を示していました。
Each group did an amazing job explaining and presenting their trees with confidence. 🌿 We were so proud to see how everyone worked together, shared their ideas, and learned more about the wonderful world of trees! 🌳✨
