For our Unit of Inquiry 2, we started Line of Inquiry 2, which focuses on how feelings and ideas are expressed through storytelling. To begin, we reviewed the different kinds of feelings and emotions, helping the children recognize and name what they feel. Then, we did the “My Jar of Feelings” activity, where they shared the emotions they experience throughout the day. It was wonderful to learn how our little ones feel and express themselves, showing how storytelling can help them understand and communicate their emotions better.

In our Phonics lesson, we are continuing to learn about blending digraphs. This week, we focused on the consonant blends “sm” and “sn.” Our young learners actively participated by giving examples of words with these blends and writing them on the board. Afterward, we watched short videos to reinforce their understanding and practiced reading some vocabulary words together. It was a fun and engaging way to help the children improve their blending and reading skills.

Our young ones have started practicing and preparing for the upcoming Christmas Show with great excitement. They began making props for the play and practicing their lines enthusiastically. Everyone is working very hard to make the performance special and memorable. To support their preparation, we will send the script home every weekend so the children can practice with their parents. Please remember to bring the script back to school on weekdays. Thank you for your continued support!

Wishing everyone a wonderful and relaxing weekend! Enjoy your time with family and friends, and see you all next week!
