First Rehearsal at the Nagano City Arts Center
Our excitement continues to build as we officially held our very first rehearsal at the Nagano City Arts Center—the very stage where our Christmas Show will come to life!
During the rehearsal, the children were able to experience how big the stage really is and began learning how to move confidently across it. They practiced their positions, entrances, and exits, getting a real feel for how the performance will flow on the big day. It was an important step in helping them feel comfortable and confident in the actual venue.
With less than a month to go before our Christmas Show, the countdown is officially on! The students are working hard each day, practicing their lines, songs, and movements with growing focus and enthusiasm. Their effort, determination, and teamwork are already shining through.
We are so proud of how well everyone did during this first rehearsal, and we can’t wait to see their progress over the coming weeks. The excitement is in the air, and the magic of Christmas is truly beginning to unfold! 🎄✨
長野市芸術文化センターにて、いよいよクリスマスショーの舞台となる、初めてのリハーサルが正式に行われました。私たちの興奮はますます高まっています！
リハーサル中、子どもたちはステージの広さを実感し、自信を持ってステージを渡り歩くことを学び始めました。立ち位置や入場、退場を練習し、本番でのパフォーマンスの流れを実際に感じ取りました。これは、子どもたちが本番で安心して自信を持って臨むための重要なステップとなりました。
クリスマスショーまであと1ヶ月を切り、いよいよカウントダウンが始まりました！子どもたちは毎日、セリフ、歌、そして動きを、より一層の集中力と情熱を持って練習しています。彼らの努力、決意、そしてチームワークはすでに光り輝いています。
この最初のリハーサルでみんなが素晴らしいパフォーマンスを見せてくれたことを本当に誇りに思います。これから数週間、彼らの成長を見るのが待ちきれません。会場は興奮に包まれ、クリスマスの魔法がまさに始まります！🎄✨
A Week of Wonderful Puppet Shows
Our classroom has been buzzing with creativity and excitement as the children became completely hooked on putting on their very own puppet shows for their friends! What started as a simple craft activity quickly turned into a daily highlight that everyone eagerly looked forward to.
Each day featured a different theme inspired by the children’s favorite characters. We enjoyed original puppet shows starring Pokémon, Precure, Sumikko Gurashi, and many more beloved characters. The children carefully colored their chosen characters, attached sticks to the back of the paper, and—voilà!—their puppets were ready for the stage.
To begin the show, the children flipped the tables down, hid behind them, and prepared their “stage.” Their classmates gathered quietly in front, excited and ready to watch. With bright smiles and lively voices, the young performers presented their own original stories, full of imagination, humor, and teamwork.
These puppet shows have been a beautiful way for the children to express themselves, build confidence, and share their ideas with others. It has been wonderful to see how proud they are of their creations and how supportive they are as an audience for their friends.

子どもたちが友達のために自分たちで人形劇を演じることにすっかり夢中になり、教室は創造性と興奮でいっぱいです！最初は簡単な工作だったものが、あっという間に毎日の楽しみとなり、みんなが心待ちにしていました。
毎日、子どもたちのお気に入りのキャラクターをテーマにしたテーマで活動しました。ポケモン、プリキュア、すみっコぐらしなど、たくさんの人気キャラクターが登場するオリジナルの人形劇を楽しみました。子どもたちは選んだキャラクターに丁寧に色を塗り、紙の裏に棒をくっつけると、さあ、人形劇の完成です！
ショーが始まると、子どもたちはテーブルを倒し、その後ろに隠れて「ステージ」を準備しました。クラスメイトたちは静かに前に集まり、興奮しながら見守る準備を整えました。明るい笑顔と元気な声で、若いパフォーマーたちは想像力とユーモア、そしてチームワークに満ちた、それぞれが作り上げたオリジナルの物語を披露しました。
これらの人形劇は、子どもたちが自分を表現し、自信をつけ、そして自分のアイデアを他の人と共有するための素晴らしい方法となっています。子どもたちが自分の作品にどれほど誇りを持ち、観客として友達をどれほど応援しているかを見るのは素晴らしいことです。
