Our Christmas Show 2025 🎄✨

Our recently concluded Christmas Show was a heartwarming celebration of learning, creativity, and community. After weeks of practice and preparation, our students took the stage with confidence and enthusiasm, filling the venue with the true spirit of the season.

The Milky Way class captivated the audience with their meaningful play, “The Lost Voices of the Savanna.” Through storytelling, expression, and teamwork, the children brought the story to life, showing not only their acting skills but also their deep understanding of cooperation and empathy.

In addition to the play, the Milky Way students proudly presented a special music performance of “Imagine” by John Lennon, using handbells and the melodion. Inspired by a young child bravely performing this song, the students challenged themselves to learn new instruments and work together to create a beautiful and moving performance. Their focus, coordination, and courage were truly impressive.

Leading up to the big day, the children rehearsed diligently, memorizing lines, practicing dance and music parts, and supporting one another throughout the process. They also had the opportunity to perform in front of their younger friends from the Aurora and Shooting Star classes, as well as enjoy watching their performances, creating a wonderful sense of connection across grade levels.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our parents and families for their continued support—practicing lines at home, preparing costumes, and joining us to celebrate this special event. Your involvement helps nurture the children’s confidence and love for learning.

Although a few students were unable to join us on stage due to illness, they were very much missed. We look forward to welcoming their families on December 23rd, when those children will have the opportunity to share their performance at school.

Our Christmas Show was a beautiful reminder of what our community can achieve together. Thank you to our students, teachers, staff, and families for making this event a memorable celebration of growth, joy, and the holiday spirit.

先日終了したクリスマスショーは、学び、創造性、そしてコミュニティの絆を称える、心温まる祝典となりました。数週間にわたる練習と準備を経て、生徒たちは自信と情熱をもって舞台に立ち、会場をクリスマスの真髄で満たしました。

ミルキーウェイクラスは、意義深い劇「サバンナの失われた声」で観客を魅了しました。物語、表現力、そしてチームワークを通して、子どもたちは物語に命を吹き込み、演技力だけでなく、協力と共感の深い理解を示しました。

劇に加え、ミルキーウェイクラスの生徒たちは、ハンドベルとメロディオンを使ったジョン・レノンの「イマジン」の特別演奏を披露しました。幼い子どもが勇敢にこの曲を演奏する姿に感銘を受け、生徒たちは新しい楽器に挑戦し、協力して美しく感動的なパフォーマンスを作り上げました。彼らの集中力、協調性、そして勇気は、本当に感動的でした。

この日に向けて、子どもたちは熱心にリハーサルを重ね、セリフを覚え、ダンスや音楽のパートを練習し、常に互いに支え合いました。オーロラクラスとシューティングスタークラスの年下のお友達の前でパフォーマンスを披露する機会も得られ、また、彼らのパフォーマンスを鑑賞する機会も得られ、学年を超えた素晴らしい繋がりが生まれました。

ご家庭でのセリフ練習、衣装の準備、そしてこの特別なイベントへのご参加など、保護者の皆様には変わらぬご支援を賜り、心より感謝申し上げます。皆様のご協力は、子どもたちの自信と学ぶことへの愛を育む上で大きな力となります。

病気のため、舞台に立つことができなかった生徒も数名おり、大変さびしく感じております。12月23日には、子どもたちのご家族の皆様をお迎えし、学校でパフォーマンスを披露する機会を心待ちにしております。

クリスマスショーは、地域社会が共に成し遂げられることを改めて実感させてくれる、素晴らしい機会となりました。成長、喜び、そしてホリデーシーズンの精神を称える、思い出に残るイベントにしてくださった生徒の皆様、先生方、職員の皆様、そしてご家族の皆様に感謝申し上げます。

Creating Christmas Magic: Our Lantern Craft Activity ❄️✨

As part of our Christmas celebrations at school, our students enjoyed a joyful and creative Christmas craft activity—making their very own Christmas lanterns, which the children lovingly call snowflakes.

Using different colors of colored paper, the children carefully folded, cut, and glued their pieces to create beautiful lanterns. This hands-on activity gave them the opportunity to practice fine motor skills, follow steps, and express their creativity. Each lantern was unique, reflecting the children’s individual ideas and choices of color and design.

Throughout the activity, the classroom was filled with excitement and concentration. The children took pride in their work, helping one another and eagerly sharing their finished lanterns with friends. Seeing their faces light up as their lanterns came together was a wonderful reminder of the joy found in creating something with their own hands.

学校でのクリスマスのお祝いの一環として、生徒たちは楽しくて創造的なクリスマス工作を楽しみました。それは、子どもたちが愛情を込めて「スノーフレーク」と呼んでいる、自分だけのクリスマスランタン作りです。

子どもたちは様々な色の紙を丁寧に折り、切り、貼り合わせて、美しいランタンを作りました。この実践的な活動を通して、子どもたちは細かい運動能力を鍛え、手順に従い、創造性を表現することができました。ランタンは一つ一つが個性的で、子どもたちのアイデアや色、デザインの選択が反映されています。

活動中、教室は興奮と集中力でいっぱいでした。子どもたちは自分の作品に誇りを持ち、互いに助け合い、完成したランタンを友達と喜んで分け合っていました。ランタンが完成していくにつれて、子どもたちの顔が輝くのを見るのは、自分の手で何かを作る喜びを思い出させてくれる素晴らしい体験でした。
