This week was filled with exciting activities and meaningful moments as we wrapped up the term before winter break.
今週は、冬休み前の学期を締めくくるにふさわしい、ワクワクする活動と心に残る出来事がたくさんありました。
On Tuesday, we held our final rehearsal at the Performing Arts Center. At first, the students were a little confused by the new environment, as the space was much bigger than their classroom. During the rehearsal, many students were naturally curious and kept looking back at the background images and videos, which made it difficult for them to stay fully focused at first. However, after several practice runs, they became more comfortable with the space and showed great improvement in their focus and performance. By the end of the rehearsal, they were confident and well-prepared for the actual performance.
火曜日には、松本芸術館で最後のリハーサルを行いました。最初は、教室よりもはるかに広い新しい環境に、子どもたちは少し戸惑っている様子でした。リハーサル中は、背景の映像や写真が気になって後ろを振り返ってしまう姿も多く、集中するのが難しい場面もありました。しかし、何度か練習を重ねるうちに会場にも慣れ、集中力やパフォーマンスが大きく向上しました。リハーサルの終わりには、自信をもって本番に臨める状態になっていました。
The Shooting Star class also presented their play, performing the story “The Shepherd Boy and the Wolf.” Everyone looked wonderful in their cute costumes, which added even more charm to the performance. The program included the opening song “Deck the Halls,” a “Jingle Bells” pianica performance, and the closing song “Winter Wonderland.” The celebration continued with a special visit from Santa, who brought presents for the students. Everyone did a fantastic job. Although two friends were unable to attend, they were very much part of the journey, having shared the rehearsal process from the beginning. We hope everyone enjoyed our performance. Our Shooting Star students worked very hard to put on a wonderful show. Despite the challenges, the students enjoyed every step of the process, which helped them deliver an amazing performance.
シューティングスタークラスは、劇「羊飼いの少年とオオカミ」を発表しました。かわいらしい衣装に身を包んだ子どもたちは、とても素敵で、舞台にさらに魅力を添えてくれました。プログラムは、オープニングソング「Deck the Halls」、ピアニカによる「Jingle Bells」の演奏、そしてエンディングソング「Winter Wonderland」で構成されていました。その後はサンタさんの特別な訪問があり、子どもたちはプレゼントを受け取りました。みんな本当によく頑張りました。当日参加できなかったお友だちが2人いましたが、リハーサルの初めから一緒に取り組んできた大切な仲間です。今回の発表を皆さまに楽しんでいただけていれば嬉しく思います。シューティングスターの子どもたちは、この素晴らしいステージのために一生懸命努力してきました。さまざまな困難はありましたが、その過程を楽しみながら取り組んだことが、素晴らしいパフォーマンスにつながりました。
On Friday, we said farewell to a dear friend who will be leaving ISN to move to Singapore. We spent time playing together at the park and held a small farewell party in the classroom. The students played games, shared heartfelt messages, and gave a simple gift as a keepsake to remember our time together.
金曜日には、シンガポールへお引っ越しのためISNを離れる大切なお友だちとのお別れをしました。公園で一緒に遊び、教室ではささやかなお別れ会を開きました。子どもたちはゲームをしたり、心のこもったメッセージを伝え合ったり、思い出として小さなプレゼントを贈りました。
