Who would have thought that our time in the Savanna Class would pass so quickly?
サバンナクラスで過ごした時間が、こんなにもあっという間に感じられるとは誰が想像したでしょうか。In just three more months, our students will be ready to move on to the final stage of their preschool journey—the Rainforest Class.
あと3か月で、子どもたちはプリスクール最後のステージであるレインフォレストクラスへ進む準備が整います。Before that exciting transition, we continue to grow, learn, and inquire together here in Savanna.
その大きな一歩の前に、サバンナクラスではこれからも共に学び、成長し、探究を深めていきます。

This week was a special highlight as it brought together one of our most meaningful learning experiences—a music performance and play created through collaboration and dedication.
今週は、協働と努力を通して創り上げた音楽パフォーマンスと劇という、非常に意義深い学びの経験がありました。As part of this process, the Savanna Class joined other classes for rehearsals at the Performing Arts Center, where students practiced, reflected, and improved together.
その一環として、サバンナクラスは他のクラスと共にパフォーミングアーツセンターでリハーサルを行い、練習・振り返り・改善を重ねました。Through this experience, students demonstrated the IB Learner Profile attributes of being Communicators, Risk-Takers, and Caring individuals.
この経験を通して、子どもたちはIBの学習者像である「コミュニケーションができる人」「挑戦する人」「思いやりのある人」を発揮しました。

Back in the classroom, we concluded Unit 3: Living and Non-Living Things by revisiting our discoveries.教室では、ユニット3「生きているもの・生きていないもの」を、重要な概念と発見を振り返りながらまとめました。Students reflected on what they learned about living and non-living things, what living things need to survive, life cycles, and how we can keep ourselves healthy.
子どもたちは、生きているものと生きていないものの違い、生きているものが生きるために必要なもの、ライフサイクル、そして健康でいるためにできることについて振り返りました。

More importantly, they shared how they felt during their learning journey, showing deep engagement and understanding.さらに、学びの過程で感じたことを共有し、深い理解と主体的な関わりを示してくれました。

To check our understanding and prepare for the next unit, we gathered around the Wonder Wall and revisited each question together.理解を確認し、次のユニットへ進む準備として、ワンダーウォールの質問をみんなで一つひとつ振り返りました。Laughter filled the room as students proudly realized they could now answer their own questions—true evidence of inquiry-based learning.
自分たちで問いに答えられることに気づいた瞬間、教室は笑顔と笑い声でいっぱいになりました。これは探究型学習の確かな証です。
