Our students had an exciting and meaningful learning experience during our visit to the Omachi Energy Museum. This trip was more than just an outing—it was a powerful extension of our classroom learning.

At the museum, students explored different types of energy. Through hands-on exhibits, interactive displays, and real-life examples, they discovered how electricity is generated and how energy is used in our daily lives. The students were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and eagerly sharing their ideas with one another.

Students learned how energy choices affect the environment and why it is important to use resources responsibly. This helped them develop a deeper understanding of sustainability and our shared responsibility to care for the Earth.

This trip reminded us that learning does not only happen inside the classroom. Experiences like this help students become informed, responsible, and globally minded learners—at the heart of the IB mission.
