Waterfall students sent their warmest greetings to one new student this week! What a better welcome than to show him how we have fun at the park with Canyon Class.  It has been a long time since we visited Blue Park, as we have explored other parks and play areas this year, on foot, by bus and by train. So, they started the week off by playing on the jungle gym, on the swings, or in a little snow.

今週、Waterfallクラスは新しいお友達がやってきました！新しいお友達が来ることをとても楽しみにしていたWaterfallのみんな。Canyonクラスと一緒になって公園で楽しく遊ぶことで、あたたかい歓迎の気持ちを送りました！

新しいUnitが始まってからは、歩いたり、バスや電車に乗ったりして、いろいろな公園や遊び場を探検してきたので、Blue Parkを訪れるのは久しぶりでした。週のはじめは、ジャングルジムやブランコで遊んだり、少し残っていた雪や氷で遊んだりしてスタートしました。

冷たいお水も雪や氷も、子どもたちはへっちゃら！夢中で氷を踏み割ったり泥遊びを楽しみました。

A couple of students shared more transportation inspiration during Show and Tell early in the week, as they got ready for our most elaborate presentation yet! Thank you Waterfall students and parents for making all of those planes, trains and automobiles!  Each student was happy for you to join them on Open Day, and they requested that your names go on the Show and Tell crafts, as they were proudest that you did it together!

週の前半には、Show and Tellで交通機関をテーマにした発表をしてくれた子もいました。

そして迎えた、これまででいちばん大がかりな発表の日！飛行機や電車、車など、すてきな作品を作ってくださったWaterfallの子どもたちと保護者の皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。

参観日では、子どもたちは大好きなパパやママと一緒に、ひとつの乗りものを完成させたことをとても喜んでいました。そして、「一緒に作ったから！」と、作品にパパやママの名前も書いてほしいとお願いするほど誇らしげでした♡
