Hi everyone!
This week was another fun, exciting, and busy week for all our classes! We started with Storytelling, and it was wonderful to listen to the story of Farmer Duck. We enjoyed following the events in the story and talking about the characters.
From Farmer Duck, we learned an important lesson about being responsible and hardworking. The story reminded us that we should not let others do all the work while we stay lazy. Instead, we should help, do our part, and work together. It also taught us about fairness and kindness. Everyone deserves to be treated well and appreciated for their hard work. And we did a farmer or a duck craft afterwards.
今週もクラスみんなにとって楽しくてワクワクする充実した一週間でした！まずはストーリーテリングから始まり、『ファーマー・ダック』の物語を聞くのは素晴らしい体験でした。物語の展開を追ったり登場人物について話し合ったりして楽しみました。
『ファーマー・ダック』からは、責任感と勤勉さについて大切な教訓を学びました。この物語は、怠けてばかりいて他人に仕事を任せてはいけないと気づかせてくれました。代わりに、助け合い、自分の役割を果たし、協力し合うべきだと。公平さと優しさについても教えてくれました。誰もが親切に扱われ、努力を認められる価値があるのです。その後、農夫かアヒルを選んで工作をしました。
In our UOI, we began our Show and Tell presentations about the road safety pictures we took in our surroundings. We confidently shared what we observed, identified different road signs, and explained the rules shown in our photos.
Through this activity, we deepened our understanding that rules and signs help keep everyone safe. This made meaningful connections between what we see in our community and how these safety rules protect us each day. It was wonderful to see them communicating their ideas and demonstrating their growing awareness as responsible members of the community.
私たちのUOIでは、身近な場所で撮影した交通安全の写真について、発表会を始めました。子どもたちは自信を持って観察結果を共有し、様々な道路標識を特定し、写真に写っているルールを説明してくれました。
この活動を通じて、ルールや標識が皆の安全を守る助けになるという理解を深めました。地域で目にするものと、これらの安全ルールが日々私たちを守っていることとの間に、意味あるつながりを見出せたのです。子どもたちが自らの考えを伝え、地域の一員としての責任ある意識が育っている様子を示す姿は、本当に素晴らしいものでした。
Today was an exciting day at our swimming lesson! Our instructor let us know that she would be doing a little assessment to see how much we’ve learned and done so far in the lesson.
She observed how well we could follow instructions and whether we were confident enough to fully put our heads underwater. 🏊♀️🏊♂️
As always, we started with our usual warm-up to get our bodies ready. Then, we did all the skills we’ve been learning since the beginning of the school year. It was amazing to see how much we have improved!
Everyone tried their very best, listened carefully, and showed growing confidence in the water. Most importantly, we had so much fun while learning! 😊

この日の水泳レッスンでワクワクする一日でした！インストラクターが、これまでのレッスンでどれだけ上達したかを確認する簡単な評価を行うと教えてくれました。
インストラクターは、指示をどれだけ正確に守れるか、そして自信を持って完全に頭を水に浸けられるかどうかを観察しました。🏊♀️🏊♂️
いつも通り、まずは体を温めるためのウォームアップから始めました。その後、今年度初めから学んできた全てのスキルを実践。みんながどれだけ上達したか、本当に感動しました！
全員が精一杯頑張り、注意深く指示を聞き、水中で自信を深めている様子が見て取れました。何より大切なのは、学びながら本当に楽しめたことです！😊
みんな、よくやったね！これからも波を立てていこう！
During our music lesson, we were introduced to the pianica. The teacher guided us step by step. Learning how to sit properly, open and close the instrument, connect the hose correctly, and understand which end is for the mouth and the pianica. We practiced the basic steps of holding it properly and making our very first sounds. We were so excited to start playing pianica and very proud of ourselves.
A wonderful day of learning and new experiences! 🎶
音楽の授業で、私たちはピアノカを教わりました。先生が一つひとつ丁寧に教えてくれました。正しい座り方、楽器の開け閉め方、ホースの正しい接続方法、口とピアノカを吹く側の区別を学びました。正しい持ち方と初めての音を出す基本を練習しました。ピアノカを演奏し始めるのがとても楽しみで、自分たちの成長を誇らしく思いました。
学びと新しい体験に満ちた素晴らしい一日でした！🎶
