Hello wonderful parents and friends,
Even though it is still the end of February, we are beginning to notice little hints that spring is on its way. 🌤️
みなさんこんにちは。2月の終わりとなり、春の訪れをうっすらと感じるようになりました🌤️風が少しずつ温かくなり、日差しもより明るくなりましたね。まだ上着は必要ですが、真冬に比べると外で過ごすのがずっと快適になりました。
The breeze is getting a little warmer, and the sunshine feels brighter and more cheerful. While we still need our jackets, it feels much more comfortable to be outside than it did in the middle of winter.
We had a wonderful walk to the park on a sunny day. The children were excited to be outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and open space.
During our walk, students practiced what they have been learning about safety rules in our UOI lesson. They did a fantastic job remembering to put their hands up when crossing the road and holding hands with their friends. When we came to the traffic light, they confidently said, “Stop!” when it was red and “Go!” when it turned green. They also remembered to walk on the side of the road and stay together.
They had so much fun running, climbing, and playing together. Laughter filled the park as everyone enjoyed the beautiful day.
Even though winter is not quite over yet, these sunny February days remind us that a new season is coming. We are looking forward to more outdoor adventures as the days continue to get longer and warmer. 🌷
今週のオーロラさん達は、澄んだ空気と開放的な空間を楽しむことができました✨公園へのお散歩中、探求の活動で学んだ交通安全のルールを実践しました。道路を渡るときは手を上げることを忘れず、お友達と手をつなぐことも完璧にできました。信号機の前では、赤信号で自信を持って「ストップ！」、青信号で「ゴー！」と声をかけあっていました。歩道の端を歩き、列がばらばらにならないように歩くことも上手にできていました。公園では、走り回ったり登ったりと、友達と一緒に大いに楽しみました。楽しいひと時を満喫する笑い声が公園中に響いていました😊また寒くなる日もあるかもしれませんが、このあたたかい2月の日々は新たな季節の訪れを感じさせてくれます。日が長くなり暖かくなるにつれ、さらなる屋外での活動が待ち遠しいですね🌷
We enjoyed another beautiful day for a walk, this time with our friends from the Shooting Star class. It was such a lovely opportunity for the children to spend time together, talk, and share smiles along the way.
Our Aurora students are feeling excited as they begin thinking about stepping up to the next class level. Spending time with the Shooting Star class helps them feel more confident and curious about what is ahead. They enjoyed walking together, and playing at the park.
These shared experiences help make transitions feel smooth and positive. We are so proud of how grown-up and ready our Aurora students are becoming🌷
そしてまた別の温かい日、今度はシューティングスタークラスのお友達と一緒にお散歩にぴったりの素晴らしい一日を過ごしました。一つ上のお兄さんお姉さんと一緒に時間を過ごし、おしゃべりし、嬉しそうに手をつないで歩く素敵な機会となりました。
最近のオーロラさんたちは、シューティングさんになることを意識し始め、ワクワクしている様子です。シューティングさんとの交流は、これからやってくる新しい学年への自信と期待を持たせてくれました。一緒にお散歩し、公園で遊ぶ時間をとっても楽しんでいました🎵
こうした関わりが、新年度をスムーズで前向きに迎えることにつながります。オーロラさんたちが、こんなに大きく、一つ上のクラスに行くことへ準備万端になっている姿に、なんだかジーンとする瞬間でした🌷
After coming back to school from the gym, the children were ready for some calm and creative time in the classroom.
They had so much fun playing with playdough, coloring, and drawing. It was wonderful to see how they connected their play to our learning about transportation. ✈️🚗🚂
ジムの日、大繩遊びを楽しんだジムレッスンからスクールに戻った子どもたちは、粘土や塗り絵、お絵描きを楽しみました。遊びを交通機関の学びと結びつける様子は素晴らしかったです✈️🚗🚂
ひな祭りの工作にも取り掛かりました。先週、トイレットペーパーの芯を使ったスタンピングを楽しんでいたので、今回はお箸とポンポンを使ったスタンピングに挑戦しました。絵の具を付けたポンポンをお箸でつかみ、ポン、ポン、と押していきます。色々な色を使い、紙いっぱいにスタンプするのが楽しそうでした♪お箸をしっかりつかむ、手先の運動にもなりました😊来週、お雛様とお内裏様を作って完成です！
Time flies, and Aurora class will be spending the next two weeks enjoying special moments and making lasting memories together.
It has been wonderful to see how much the children have grown. Many of them are now able to manage themselves more responsibly — from following routines to making thoughtful choices and showing independence in their daily activities. We are so proud of their progress and confidence.
As we look ahead to these remaining days together, we are excited to continue learning, laughing, and creating meaningful experiences as a class. We will cherish this time and make beautiful memories to carry with us into the next chapter.
時はあっという間に過ぎ、オーロラさんのクラスで過ごす日々もあと2週間となりました。特別な瞬間を一緒に、大事に過ごしていきたいと思います。子どもたちの成長ぶりを見るのは本当に嬉しいことですね。今では多くの子が、日々のルーティンをこなし、思いやりのある選択をし、日々の活動に参加することも、より責任を持って自分でできるようになりました✨その成長と自信を、私たちは心から誇りに思っています。
残りの期間も、クラス全体で学び、笑い、有意義な時間を過ごすことにワクワクしています。この時間を大切に、次のステップへとつながる素敵な思い出を作っていきましょう。
