Following last week, the children continued to enjoy lots of outdoor play. They had fun flying kites and running around while kicking soccer balls. As the snow has melted and the ground is starting to appear, they were also able to search for acorns.
They climbed up the hill, rolled around on the fallen leaves, and even blew the leaves to watch them scatter. It was lovely to see so many different kinds of play unfolding in nature.

先週に続き、外あそびをたくさん楽しみました。凧を飛ばしたり、サッカーボールを蹴って走ったりと、元気いっぱい体を動かしています。雪がとけて地面が見えてきたことで、どんぐり探しもできるようになりました。丘の上に登って枯葉の上をゴロゴロ転がったり、枯葉を吹いて飛ばしたりと、自然の中でさまざまな遊びが広がっています。

During indoor play, the children colored the letter “P” in pink, a color that reminds us of spring. After that, they used colorful paints on another sheet of paper and freely created many different drawings.　The children also decorated their kites with markers so they could enjoy flying them outside even more. Their own decorated kites made the activity extra special.

室内あそびでは、アルファベットの「P」を春らしいピンク色で塗りました。その後は、別の紙にカラフルな色を使って、それぞれ自由にさまざまな絵を描き、表現を楽しんでいました。
その他にも、外での遊びをより楽しめるように、マーカーで凧に絵を描きました。自分で飾った凧は特別なようで、凧あげへのモチベーションもぐっと高まりました。

During the music lesson, the children used balloons to express how they slowly grow bigger and how they become smaller as the air comes out, using both sound and body movements.
They also used cards while clapping their hands to feel the rhythm and tried saying the names of different objects to the beat, enjoying and exploring music in a fun way.

Musicレッスンでは、風船を使って、だんだん大きくふくらんでいく様子や、空気が抜けて小さくなっていく様子を、音や体の動きで表現しました。 また、カードを使いながら、手を叩いてリズムを感じたり、リズムに合わせて物の名前を言ってみたりと、楽しみながら音楽に親しみました。
