Before I start on this blog, as this school year comes to an end, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our wonderful parents. Thank you for your continuous support, trust, and cooperation throughout the year. Your kindness and encouragement have meant so much, not only to me but also to the children.
It has been a truly special journey watching your children grow, learn, and shine in their own unique ways. I feel so grateful to have been part of their lives and to share these meaningful moments together.

お子様たちがそれぞれの個性で成長し、学び、輝いていく姿を見守ることができたのは、本当に特別な旅路でした。子供たちの人生の一端を担い、こうした意味深い瞬間を共に分かち合えたことに、心から感謝しています。

As we step into the final week of the school year, we’re taking time to celebrate all the fun, learning, and amazing growth we’ve shared! During our special closing circle in the MW classroom, we said goodbye to our dearest Milky Way friends, shared smiles, and watched videos together about how much we’ve grown. It was a wonderful video presentation by Ms. Rose for all the students. It has truly been a joyful year filled with laughter, new friendships, and unforgettable memories. We are so proud of everyone and can’t wait to enjoy our last week together! 🎬
The highlights of our fun week were going to the park, the storytelling, and the book-swapping that some kids were too excited about.
Our Book Swapping Event was fun and exciting! Some kids brought books from home and exchanged them with their friends. They enjoyed choosing new stories and were excited to start reading right away. It was a great way to share and build a love for reading!
今年度の最終週を迎え、これまで皆で分かち合ってきた楽しいひとときや学び、そして素晴らしい成長を振り返り、祝う時間を設けています！ミルキーウェイの教室で行われた特別なクロージングサークルでは、愛するミルキーウェイの仲間たちに別れを告げ、笑顔を交わし、私たちがどれだけ成長したかを振り返る動画を一緒に観ました。ローズ先生による、全生徒に向けた素晴らしい動画プレゼンテーションでした。笑い声、新しい友情、そして忘れられない思い出に満ちた、本当に楽しい一年でした。私たちは皆をとても誇りに思っており、最後の1週間を一緒に楽しむのが待ちきれません！🎬
この楽しい一週間のハイライトは、公園へのお出かけ、読み聞かせ、そして一部の子供たちが大興奮した本の交換会でした。
私たちの本の交換イベントは、楽しくてワクワクするものでした！家から本を持ってきて、友達と交換した子供たちもいました。みんな新しい物語を選ぶのを楽しみ、すぐに読み始められることにワクワクしていました。これは、読書への愛を分かち合い、育む素晴らしい方法でした！
We had a fun storytelling session with the story The Three Billy Goats Gruff! The children listened carefully as we followed the three goats crossing the bridge and meeting the troll. They enjoyed the exciting parts of the story and even joined in by repeating lines and making sounds, “trip trap trip trap.“🐐
This activity helped build their listening skills, imagination, and confidence. Everyone had a great time bringing the story to life! After the story, the children enjoyed making their own Billy Goats Gruff crafts using paper plates. They created wonderful, unique artworks, choosing which billy goat to make. It was amazing to see their creativity shine!✨🎨🐐
『三匹のヤギ』の読み聞かせを楽しみました！子どもたちは、3匹のヤギが橋を渡り、トロールに出会う様子を、じっと耳を澄ませて聞いていました。物語の盛り上がる場面では大喜びし、セリフを一緒に繰り返したり、「トリップ・トラップ、トリップ・トラップ」と音を立てたりして、物語に参加していました。🐐
この活動を通じて、子どもたちの聞き取り力、想像力、そして自信が育まれました。みんな、物語を生き生きと再現して、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました！読み聞かせの後は、紙皿を使って自分だけの「三匹の子ヤギ」の工作を楽しみました。どのヤギを作るか自分で選び、素晴らしい個性あふれる作品を作り上げました。子どもたちの創造性が輝いている姿を見るのは、本当に素晴らしいことでした！✨🎨🐐
Lastly, we had so much fun going on a long walk with our Milky Way and Shooting Stars friends to Kamitakada Park! We climbed up to the shrine and loved playing on the soft, fluffy grass. It was a big, beautiful park, and we had a great time exploring and playing together!
最後に、ミルキーウェイとシューティングスターズの仲間たちと一緒に、上高田公園まで長い散歩に出かけて、とっても楽しかったです！神社まで登ったり、ふかふかの芝生の上で遊んだりして、最高でした。広くて素敵な公園で、みんなで一緒に探検したり遊んだりして、本当に楽しい時間を過ごしました！
To wrap up the week, we finally had our long-awaited Doughnut Party! The children were very excited to enjoy sweet doughnuts with their friends. It was a fun and happy treat for everyone!
今週の締めくくりとして、待ちに待ったドーナツパーティーがついに開催されました！子どもたちは、お友達と一緒に甘いドーナツを楽しめることに大喜びでした。みんなにとって、楽しくて幸せなひとときとなりました！
