Josh from Grade 2 reporting in with all that we’ve been doing these past couple of weeks!

To get the year started right, Mr. Saito, our Japanese teacher, took the kids off for a potato planting experience. We’re all looking forward to seeing the results of our hard work!

Another yearly tradition is our public transportation safety seminar. Thank you as always to the local drivers and staff who help us with this event every year!

Of course, our big event was the Spring Festival! But with so many parents coming to view our classroom, we had to make sure it looked nice and neat. The Art Corner Crew came through with flying colors!

And we had to make sure all our best work was viewable to everyone:

Thank you once again to everyone who came out. The kids did an amazing job of sharing what we’ve been doing and showing what they know about community helpers. But the work continues on!

It’s hard to believe we’re already a month deep into the school year. But here’s to even more growth and progress. I hope you’re looking forward to it as much as I am!

2年生担任のJoshより、この数週間の学びの様子をお届けします！

新年度のスタートとして、日本語の齋藤先生と一緒に、じゃがいもの植え付け体験に行ってきました。みんなでがんばって植えた成果が見られるのが、今からとても楽しみです！

毎年恒例の行事として、公共交通機関の安全教室も行いました。今年もご協力くださった地域の運転手の皆さま、スタッフの皆さま、本当にありがとうございました！

そして、やはり大きなイベントはスプリングフェスティバルでした！たくさんの保護者の皆さまが教室を見に来てくださるということで、教室をきれいに整える必要がありましたが、アートコーナーチームが大活躍してくれました！

さらに、子どもたちのこれまでの素晴らしい作品も、皆さまにしっかり見ていただけるように準備しました。

改めまして、ご来校いただいた皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。子どもたちは、これまでの学びやコミュニティで働く人々について知っていることを、一生懸命に伝えてくれました。とても素晴らしい発表でした！そして、学びはまだまだ続いていきます。

気がつけば、もう新学期が始まって1か月が経ちました。これからのさらなる成長と進歩が楽しみですね。私と同じように、皆さまにも楽しみにしていただけたら嬉しいです！
