This month, our inquiry will focus on body parts and how we use them every day. Through songs, games, stories, and hands-on activities, the children will learn to identify different parts of their bodies and discover what they can do. As young inquirers, they will explore movement, self-care, and healthy habits while building their English vocabulary. We look forward to learning, playing, and discovering together!

今月の探究テーマは 「体の部位（Body Parts）」 です。子どもたちは、歌やゲーム、絵本、体験型のアクティビティを通して、体のさまざまな部分の名前や、それぞれがどのような働きをしているのかを楽しく学んでいきます。

探究者（Inquirers）として、体を動かすことの楽しさや、自分の体を大切にするためのセルフケア、健康的な生活習慣についても探究していきます。また、活動を通して英語の語彙も自然に増やしていきます。

子どもたちと一緒に、学び、遊び、発見する楽しい1か月にしていきたいと思います！✨

Body parts topic

This week we focused on the face as part of the body.Some of the words we added to our vocabulary bank this week are, “eyes, mouth, ears, nose, hair, head , chin, forehead, toungue and teeth.”

今週は、体の一部である「顔（Face）」に焦点を当てて活動を行いました。

新しく学んだ英単語には、eyes（目）、mouth（口）、ears（耳）、nose（鼻）、hair（髪）、head（頭）、chin（あご）、forehead（おでこ）、tongue（舌）、teeth（歯） などがあります。

歌やゲーム、日々の活動を通して、子どもたちは楽しみながら顔のさまざまな部位の名前を学び、自分や先生の顔を観察しながら理解を深めました。英語で体の部位を表現することにも少しずつ慣れ親しんでいます。✨

Gym lesson

We enjoyed moving our bodies at the gymnasium!

ジムでは、思い切り体を動かして遊びました！ 広いスペースの中で、走ったりジャンプしたりしながら、元気いっぱいに活動を楽しむ子どもたち。体を動かす楽しさを味わいながら、さまざまな動きに挑戦しました。

Park

It’s been a month now since we started practising how to walk to the park as a class!It’s safe to say that we are now pros at this thing called walking!

クラスのみんなで公園まで歩く練習を始めてから、早くも1か月が経ちました。 初めの頃に比べると、子どもたちはぐんと成長し、安全に気をつけながら上手に歩けるようになっています。お友だちと一緒に列を作り、周りをよく見ながら歩く姿はとても立派です！

Music lesson

This week was the our last for singing the songs that the mucis teacher introduced to us at the beiginning of April. We will learn new songs next week!!

今週は、4月の初めに音楽の先生から教えていただいた歌を歌う最後の週でした。子どもたちはこれまでたくさん練習を重ね、歌詞やメロディーにもすっかり親しんで、自信を持って楽しそうに歌う姿を見せてくれました。来週からは新しい歌に挑戦します！どんな歌を学ぶのか、子どもたちも楽しみにしています。

The week ahead

We will conrinue expanding our vocabulary related to body parts. Mud play and water play begins soon so this will be a good opportunity for us to connect what we learn in the classroom to outdoor activities! It’s promising to be a very exciting month for us!

また、もうすぐ泥遊びや水遊びも始まります！これらの活動は、教室で学んだことを実際の体験と結びつける絶好の機会です。体をたくさん使いながら、「手で触る」「足で歩く」「目で見る」など、学んだ言葉や体の働きを実感をもって理解していけることでしょう。

子どもたちにとって、発見や学びがいっぱいの、とてもワクワクする1か月になりそうです！✨😊
