This week in Inquiry, we moved into the Finding Out stage of our unit. Students investigated balanced diets by examining our school’s lunch menu for the week. Working in groups, they conducted research, identified the nutrients and food groups in each meal, and created labeled drawings of the lunches. This hands-on activity helped students deepen their understanding of nutrition and the different food groups that contribute to a balanced diet.

今週の探究（Inquiry）の授業では、ユニットの「Finding Out（調べる）」の段階に入りました。児童は学校の給食献立を題材に、バランスの良い食事について調べました。グループごとに献立を調査し、それぞれの料理に含まれる栄養素や食品群を確認した後、給食の絵を描き、ラベルを付けてまとめました。この活動を通して、栄養や食品群についての理解を深めることができました。

During our gym lesson, students participated in dodgeball and practiced working together as a team. While the game was challenging at first, students gradually developed their teamwork and communication skills, allowing them to enjoy and successfully engage in the activity.

体育の授業では、ドッジボールに取り組み、仲間と協力することの大切さを学びました。最初は難しく感じる場面もありましたが、チームワークやコミュニケーションを意識しながら活動し、最後まで楽しくゲームに参加することができました。

This week, the Milky Way Class from the Nagano Campus visited our campus for a collaborative learning experience. Together, students discussed food choices and explored how these choices can impact the Earth. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to learn from one another, share ideas, and support each other’s understanding of the unit.

また今週は、長野キャンパスのMilky Wayクラスの児童が本校を訪れ、合同授業を行いました。授業では、食べ物の選択とそれが地球環境に与える影響について話し合いました。お互いの考えを共有しながら学び合うことで、ユニットへの理解をさらに深める貴重な機会となりました。
