It’s been a gloomy, rainy week, with rain joining us almost every day! With flu and colds also going around, let’s take extra care of ourselves and our little ones. Let’s keep our immune systems strong with plenty of rest, healthy meals, and lots of fruits and vegetables. 🍎🥦💪
Even on rainy days, our Rainbows found plenty of ways to have fun, learn, and enjoy time together indoors! 🌈✨
This week in Music, we continued exploring triangles, squares, and circles while learning about big and small! The children enjoyed making big and tiny shapes with their hands while practicing the Japanese syllables for each shape.
We then turned it into a fun movement game! After the teachers spread the shapes around the floor, we walked and danced around them with the music. When the music stopped, the teacher called out a shape, and the children excitedly searched for and picked the correct one. They waited patiently, listened carefully, and did a wonderful job! 🔺🔵🟦
今週はどんよりとした雨の続く一週間で、ほぼ毎日雨が降っていましたね！インフルエンザや風邪も流行っている時期ですので、どうかご自身とお子さんの健康に十分気をつけてください。十分な休息、バランスの取れた食事、そしてたっぷりの果物や野菜を摂って、免疫力を高めましょう。🍎🥦💪
雨の日でも、レインボークラスの子どもたちは、室内で楽しく遊び、学び、一緒に過ごす時間を存分に楽しむ方法をたくさん見つけました！🌈✨
今週の音楽の時間では、三角形、四角形、円について探求を続けながら、「大きい」「小さい」についても学びました！子どもたちは、それぞれの形に対応する日本語のひらがなを練習しながら、手で大きな形や小さな形を作るのを楽しみました。
その後、それを楽しい動きのゲームに変えました！先生が床の上に形を散らした後、音楽に合わせてその周りを歩いたり踊ったりしました。音楽が止まると、先生が形を声に出して言い、子どもたちはワクワクしながら正しい形を探して選びました。みんな辛抱強く待ち、注意深く耳を傾け、見事な取り組みを見せてくれました！🔺🔵🟦
Before finishing the lesson, the teacher gave us a little challenge—to find all three shapes and bring them to her when the music stopped. It was a tricky one for some of our little Rainbows, but a few children understood the instructions and managed to complete the challenge! It was a fun way to practice listening, moving to the beat, and recognizing shapes. 🎶✨ The highlight of our learning this week was Big and Small.
レッスンの終わりに、先生が私たちにちょっとしたチャレンジを出してくれました。それは、3つの形をすべて見つけて、音楽が止まったら先生のもとへ持っていくというものでした。レインボークラスの小さな子どもたちの中には、少し難しかった子もいましたが、何人かの子どもたちは指示を理解して、見事にチャレンジをクリアしました！これは、聞き取りやリズムに合わせて動くこと、そして形を認識することを練習する、楽しい方法でした。🎶✨ 今週の学習のハイライトは、「大きい」と「小さい」でした。
With the rain keeping us indoors, we brought the fun into the gym! The children enjoyed moving like different animals, including frogs and bears, as well as rolling around on the floor. 🐸🐻
After a quick water break, we played a colorful matching game, matching each ball to the same-colored ring. The children had lots of fun moving, matching, and learning together!
雨で外に出られなかったので、ジムで楽しく遊びました！子どもたちは、カエルやクマなど、さまざまな動物の真似をして動き回ったり、床の上を転がったりして楽しみました。🐸🐻
少し水分補給をした後、カラフルなマッチングゲームをして、それぞれのボールを同じ色のリングに合わせました。子どもたちは、体を動かしたり、組み合わせたり、一緒に学んだりして、とても楽しそうでした！
Our little Rainbows have been becoming more curious about the world around them! 🌿✨ Whenever we go for a walk or play at the park, they are always busy looking around, noticing little things, and asking lots of questions. It’s wonderful to see their curiosity growing as they explore and discover something new each day!
私たちの「レインボーズ」の子どもたちは、周りの世界に対してますます好奇心旺盛になってきています！🌿✨ お散歩に行ったり公園で遊んだりすると、いつも周囲をキョロキョロと見回したり、小さなことに気づいたり、たくさんの質問をしたりして、大忙しです。毎日新しいことを探求し、発見する中で、子どもたちの好奇心が育っていく姿を見るのは、本当に素晴らしいことです！
