Dear Parents and Friends,
It has been a rainy wee ☔ Although we were not able to spend much time outside, we enjoyed many fun and meaningful activities indoors together.
As we continued our animal inquiry, we explored animals and their products through a cutting-and-pasting activity. The children applied what they had learned and showed that they were Knowledgeable as they matched different animals with the products we get from them.

今週は雨の多い一週間でしたね☔ 外で過ごす時間は限られてしまいましたが、室内で楽しく、かつ学びのある活動をたくさん行いました。
動物についての探究活動の一環として、切り貼り（コラージュ）の活動を通して、動物と彼等から得られる産物について学びました。子供たちはこれまでに学んだ知識を活かし、様々な動物と産物を正しく結びつけることで、確かな知識が身についていることを示してくれました。
We also enjoyed an exciting Animal Guessing Game! 🐶🐱🐮🐑
As part of the children’s everyday learning experiences, we challenged them to guess different animal sounds. The teacher played an animal sound, and the children listened carefully and tried to guess which animal was making the sound.
Once they recognized the sound, they had to quickly find and run to the correct animal picture that was placed around the classroom! 🏃♀️🏃♂️🐾
The children had lots of fun listening, guessing, moving their bodies, and learning about different animals and the sounds they make. It was a wonderful way to combine listening skills, quick thinking, movement, and animal vocabulary! ✨
「動物当てゲーム」も大盛り上がりでした！🐶🐱🐮🐑
日々の学習の一環として、動物の鳴き声を当てるクイズに挑戦しました。先生が動物の鳴き声を流すと、子供たちは耳を澄ませて、それがどの動物の鳴き声なのかを一生懸命考えました。
鳴き声がわかると、教室のあちこちに貼られた動物の絵の中から正解を素早く見つけ出し、そこまで走っていきます！🏃♀️🏃♂️🐾
音を聞き、想像し、体を動かしながら、様々な動物やその鳴き声について楽しく学ぶことができました。聞く力、とっさの判断力、身体を動かすこと、そして動物の名前（語彙）をすべて組み合わせた、素晴らしいアクティビティとなりました！✨
We also practiced our fine motor and pre-writing skills by tracing horizontal and vertical lines. The children worked carefully on holding their pencils correctly, and most of them showed a good pencil grasp. It was wonderful to see them becoming more confident and developing better control as they practiced.
また、水平線や垂直線をなぞる練習を通して、手先の器用さや書き方の基礎となる力を養いました。子供たちは鉛筆を正しく持とうと丁寧に取り組み、多くの子ども達が適切な持ち方を見せてくれました。練習を重ねるにつれて自信を深め、鉛筆をより上手にコントロールできるようになっていく姿は、見ていてとても素晴らしいものでした。
We also had an opportunity to practice for the Sports Festival in the hallway. The children tried their very best, and it was lovely to see Rainbow Class watching and cheering for them. Their encouragement helped make the practice even more exciting!
After spending some time indoors, we were happy to finally take a stroll to the park. It had been a while since our last park visit, so the children were very excited to play! It was wonderful to see how much they have grown. Many of them can now climb the play structures independently and confidently. They also enjoyed chasing and playing with one another, making the most of their time at the park. Seeing their growing independence and confidence was such a joy!
廊下で運動会の練習をする時間もありました。子どもたちは一生懸命に取り組んでいましたが、そんな彼らを「レインボークラス」のお友達が見守り、応援してくれたのはとても素敵な光景でした。温かい声援のおかげで、練習がいっそう盛り上がりました！
室内で過ごした後は、楽しみにしていた公園への散歩に出かけました。久しぶりの公園ということもあり、子どもたちは大喜びで遊んでいました！子どもたちの成長ぶりを目の当たりにし、とても嬉しく思いました。今では多くの子が、遊具に自分ひとりで自信を持って登れるようになっています。また、お互いに追いかけっこをしたり一緒に遊んだりと、公園での時間を存分に楽しんでいました。子どもたちの自立心や自信が育っている姿を見ることができ、本当に喜びを感じました！
Even with the rainy weather, Aurora had a wonderful week full of learning, practicing, playing, and growing together. 🌈
We had a wonderful birthday party in the music room to celebrate our September birthday celebrator! 🎉🎂
The Rainbow teachers entertained everyone with a fun and exciting activity they had prepared, and all the children enjoyed celebrating together.
This month, we had two special birthday celebrators! (One of them was absent…though) Happy Birthday to our dear students! 🥳🎈 We are so proud of how much you have grown and all the wonderful things you can do. We look forward to seeing you continue to grow and shine in the future. 🌟
雨模様のお天気でしたが、オーロラクラスは学び、練習し、遊び、そして共に成長する素晴らしい一週間を過ごしました。🌈
音楽室では、9月生まれのお友達をお祝いする素敵な誕生日会が開かれました！🎉🎂
レインボークラスの先生たちが準備してくれた楽しくてワクワクするようなアクティビティで盛り上がり、子供たちみんなでお祝いの時間を楽しみました。
今月は、お誕生日のお友達が2人いました！（一人は生憎この日は欠席でしたが・・）お誕生日おめでとう！🥳🎈 あなた達の成長や、たくさんのができるようになった姿を見て、私たちはとても誇らしく思っています。これからもさらに成長し、輝き続ける姿を楽しみにしています。🌟
